I've been in this marvellous villa in October 2015 with my wife for a week end in FOlrence. We choose this place in florence "countryside" driven by the good feedback we read on TripAdvisor. We had the pleasure to meet Laura, Mauro and the wonderful Rocco and they are really great and warm persons. LOGISTIC: villa is located at east...

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon. We were on a budget and couldn't afford the expensive hotels in the centre of the city so decided to go a little further out of the centre which halved the prices for us. This place is really lovely, it's so nice to escape at the end of your busy day...

My husband and I came here on honeymoon and have many great memories here. It was the relaxing holiday we needed. The hosts were helpful in recommending things to us and also gave us a lift into Florence one early morning so we could do a tour. The food was amazing - fresh bread selection every morning. The room was...

I couldn't give this place a 5 with its commute out of Florence but it was absolutely beautiful. From the views of Tuscany, to the step back in time rooms with all the modern amenities, to the very nice couple who owns it... but if you don't have a car it is way way out of the way and you...

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We had a beautiful room and a wonderful breakfast. We sat up on the hill among the olive trees and took in the views of Florence. It was so peaceful and serene.

Stayed here for 4 nights and the staff were great; especially the aul' fella; so Italian and full of life. He only speaks Italian (and I don't) but he was still wonderful. The breakfasts were very good with lots of parma ham and home- made stuff. They recommended Casamatta restaurant about a 15 minute walk away and it was great....

The hotel is located outside of Florence (10 min drive), but I had a car and so was a great option for me. It lies on a quiet hill with nice views from Tuscany. The room was really cozy and large with simple but nice decorations, it felt like home. Breakfast was the best I had in Italy! Seems like...

We spent two nights at A Casa di Olivo. It was very relaxing and quiet after all day of walking in Florence. The place is very cozy, rustic and clean. The hosts are very friendly. Breakfast is also great. The house has a beautiful olive trees garden with a view on Florence.
