We stayed for 2 nights and payed for a private bathroom so I can't speak for the shared bathroom other rooms had. The hotel itself is ideally situated - short walk to the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. Also 2 blocks away from Galleria dell'Accademia where you can see Michaelangelo's David. A 10 minute walk to Piazza del Duomo and... More

Very clean, lovely owners. Room is clean. Croissants and coffee for breakfast was yummy. Stayed in room one, was strange having a shower in the room but you get used to it. Very close walking distance to the market 4 mins and 15 minutes to the ponte bridge among others. Only €10 taxi from main train station.

This is the worst worst hotel I ever stayed ! Hard to communicate with the receptionist where their English is not good. The noise isolation is very very bad as we could hear everything outside the room. The floor in the bathroom is bad, no separation between the shower n the toilet. Hence the whole floor gets wet all over... More

We nada room onto the street which was not double glazed and we stayed 3 nights. Friday and Saturday had people walking and talking loudly out on the street all ours. And always having suitcases being wheeled up and down the street at all hours. Also the gate for security would clang at all hours so take earplugs. Shared bathroom... More

We stayed in the hotel last in October 2015. Location was great and very convenient, right behind the Termini. For the rest the hotel services were very poor. Sanity and cleaness of the hotel were questionable (We had to leave our luggage in a very smelly place). "Breakfast" was too poor (if you advertise offering breakfast and charge for it... More

These guys are really crazy. Our room was close to the reception desk and the kitchen so we had to wake up just when they started serving breakfast - at 7! That wasn't our plan as we were really tired. The walls are so thin we heard every movement and you know Italiabs they are really loud. This is not... More

It was "nice" or better say funny: small, the doors do not really mitigate the noise from the corridor, the breakfast was poor and the space provided for having it is really samll. The staff was kind. The location is perfect, is in the downtown. Recommended for youth; only to get there to sleep.

My sister and I stayed here in december 2013, and it was a terrible experience. The pictures do not correspond with reality. The forniture was old and the linen and towels dirty, with a really bad smell. There was a bathroom shared that was awful, with a disgusting floor; had no separation between the shower and toilet. So, if we... More

I went there with my sister and i couldn't stay there for more than one day ! The place was dirty and smelly! The room was so noisy and at night we could hear drunk people in the streets! The location was good but staying there doesn't worth the money. A really old man received us and he as sleeping... More

Your arrival at the hotel fani will be somewhat alarming as you shuffle along the seedy little street where it is situated and your first impressions when you finally find the hotel are not much better. The rooms are ample sized but the walls are paper thin and on our first day i had to put up with loud flea... More
