We stayed here for five nights whilst at a family wedding in Florence. The B&B is spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is pleasant, mainly toast fruit and coffees but nice. You get what you pay for in Florence and the accommodation here is basic. The steps are steep so be warned! Perfect choice to stay...

We stayed at Beatrice B&B for 5 nights in July. We had the Apollo Room with ensuite bath. Good size room and very nice bathroom. We were excited to have a window with a clothesline because we had been traveling for weeks and needed to do some laundry! The family was very helpful and friendly. The stairs are very steep...

Like going back in a time capsule, staying at this B&B was the perfect way to experience the Florence of centuries ago. It is located on a quiet street of antique shops and medieval architecture. While the building is from old Florence and it is a walkup what may be the original stone stairs, the room was charming and included...

We were really looked after well by the family, who carried our heavy bags up the stairs, and down again when we left. We couldn't work out the buses, and ended up getting a taxi from the train, which was fine. Great location just across the bridge, but walking distance to everything. Air conditioning, great breakfast, comfortable rooms, helpful staff....

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this B&B! Location was perfect - on the other side of the bridge from the touristy sites, so it was more quiet and charming, and perfect to walk around and explore the cafe's and restaurants. We walked from the train station to the B&B, which was a bit of a walk but totally doable...

We were made very welcome at Beatrice by Francesca and her mum. We stayed in the Apollo room with en suite and balcony. Loved the Oltrano district, so glad we stayed here away from the hustle and bustle. After a busy day it seemed so peaceful and chilled. Yes, there are steps up to the room, but this did not...

This B and B is a great family business, with very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are clean with good facilities. Breakfast is good, especially the selection of home made jam. The B and B is located in oltrano which is the opposite side of the river. Slightly more quiet and traditional side of florence. 5 mins...

This was our 4th time staying at Beatrice. As always, it was absolutely wonderful. The hot breakfast has everything we like: eggs, fruit, cereal, meat, cheese, bread, toast, and most importantly, coffee any way you want it! The rooms are comfy and not cramped like some big cities. The location is just around the corner from the Santa Maria Nouvella...

Beatrice B+B was perfect for us in every way. Located south of the Arno River in the quieter part of Florence, the area has many nice cafes, shops and artist workshops. The Boboli Gardens are close by and are a wonderful place to visit. Nearby cross the Ponte Vecchio and walk to many of the major highlights. The family of...

This was exactly the place we were looking for. Florence is not a huge town, and is 100% walkable, so don't be dissuaded by the fact that it is south of the the river. It's a mere 10-15 minute walk to some of the best places in Florence, and is in a much more quiet, less touristy area than places...

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
