Accommodating, clean, delicious homemade breakfast and friendly staff with lots of good tips about Florence. A great base to explore the city as it is within walking distance to all the main monuments. You are right next to Santo Spirito too which means that options for dining and after-dinner drinks are endless!

Our second visit to B&B Beatrice was even better than the first. The owners are friendly, professional and committed to ensuring guests are accommodated. Located just minutes from the Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio, in a quiet neighborhood. There are several restaurants within two blocks as well as a number of historic sites. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable in...

The wife and I loved this place! Very friendly and professional service in a very nice part of town with some good restaurants close by. We had a really nice and quiet room with a little terrace facing out back with everything up to a very good standard and beyond. I could easily write a very long recommandation mentioning many...

Charming, classic Italian room with high ceilings and tall windows. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom en suite. The proprietors are nice and helpful and the breakfast is very, very nice. You have to carry your luggage up 2 or 3 flights, but if you travel light with a carry-on, it works. (They will help you, if needed. They are installing...

This was a great place to stay, even better when you consider the price, nice large room, very comfortable bed, clean and well kept, we stayed 4 nights Lets get the one negative out of the way, there is no elevator and the rooms are up 4 flights of stair, I think that this is common so unless you have...

Very nice location. Close to major attractions but off from packed tourist streets. Place is ran by family. It is a true italian experience as the building looks tiny in the front yet it isnt in the inside. Room is clean and updated while exterior halls keep their antique charm. Something to consider is this place is on a second...

Stayed for 2 nights and was really impressed with the room, facilities and location. Room view over courtyard with balcony. Very quiet at night for a place in the city. Breakfast was basic but enjoyable. Specially home made jam. Staircase not for the fainthearted or less able bodied. Few minutes walk from Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio.

If you like helpful people, don't look for other places to stay in Florence. They helped us much more than their obligation. It's also a clean, spacious room in a calm neighborhood, 10 minutes walking from Piazza della Signoria.

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
