Had a great experience staying here! Our room was very large with a great view and a private bathroom located outside of the room. We were also greeted with a bottle of wine in the room upon check in. The B&B is situated right on the river which makes it easy to explore the downtown area or go to slightly...

I really enjoyed my stay here - the bedroom was large and bright (and included a bottle of wine!) and the bathroom (not connected to our room) was nice and clean. This B&B was in a great location to explore Florence on foot and the staff were extremely attentive (showing us how to use the coffee maker and froth milk...

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at Il Magnifico. Our room was large and neat, and we had a beautiful view of the Arno and the Ponte Veccio. The host, Alain, was incredibly helpful in giving suggestions and directions to wonderful restaurants and must-see parts of the city and provided us with a bottle of delicious wine in...

One of the best places we stayed in Italy. Great staff, facilities, and location. It's right on the Arno, and you get great views of the river and Ponte Vecchio. It's also really close to the good restaurants where locals eat-- the owner will point out where to go. I would absolutely recommend, without a doubt.

Definitely worth staying here! Great location just across the river from the Center, near the Ponte Vecchio. We could see the river and the old city from our window! Despite this, it's a very quiet spot. Very clean and warm in the middle of winter, big room and Alain was a great host- and gave us great tips on where...

Very convenient location, very useful accommodation details (fridge, coffee machine, a simple but generous Italian breakfast, fast & free internet), very kind and caring host with prompt and clear communication (thanks to Alain). We were also impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. Be back in Florence? That will be the place I will stay.

This great B&B is located on the Arno River bank, right in front of the Uffizi Galleries and a block away from the Ponte Vecchio, in a beautiful old Florentine building with an amazing view!!! Alain was very warm, and helped us very much upon arrival and during our stay! He definitely runs the place with great care and interest...

From the moment I arrived and was given one of the best welcomes, introductions & orientations of my traveling years, I realized my stay at the Magnifico was destined to be top notch. Ideally located in a garden-fronted, former palace along the Arno River --- a mere 400 meters from the Ponte Vecchio – and directly across from the Ponte...

Advantages: big room (no 5), nice breakfast and bottle of wine, from the kitchen you can get to terrace. Really kind and helpful owner. Disadvantages: no lift, the room could be brighter and slightly renovated. Overall it is very good place to stay.

We booked this hostel after reading the reviews and we weren't disappointed. Location is excellent over the river with a great view of Florence from our window. The room was bright and clean with a lovely bottle of wine as a welcome gift! Breakfast was provided and was all we needed with croissants, jam, nutella and coffee plus tea.... The...

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
