We stayed in two apartments over four nights and loved the authentic character as well as the location within comfortable walking distance of the city. Clara was very friendly and informative assisting us with making the most of our stay. We loved our time in Florence and would recommend these apartments.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay in Florence. GREAT location- the Roman Gate is just down the street. GREAT service- the owner sat down with us for however much time we needed, led us to absolutely amazing places with her recommendations, and went above and beyond to take care of whatever we needed. The apartments themselves...

We had a really lovely stay here. The apartment was just what we had hoped for and everyone was most helpful. First impressions go along way and the warm welcome and instructions that we received were "first class". A place not to be forgotten and we hope to return one day soon. Many thanks to all for making our stay...

We had a wonderful stay in Poggio Imperiale Apartments in Florence. What a beautiful place! The apartments had everything that we needed! Clara made our stay perfect! This place is exactly what you are looking for if you want a great vacation. Affordable, charming, a real home away from home. We loved being so close to center yet far enough...

I would NEVER stay here again. It was dreadful. We left after one horrible night. Let me tell you why we left: Given that there was a 7-day cancellation for this property, we assumed the apt would be ready for us. It was not. During our 45 minute ! check-in, Clara brought us towels, toilet paper, and a shower curtain....

A few days ago we most regrettably received a threatening email from this client. If we did not make an adjustment for the only night we charged them - even though they were booked for 5 nights and we overrode our cancellation policy, they would post the above written review. At Poggio Imperiale Apartments we take great pride in our...

We loved our apartment - so comfortable, roomy, stylish, and well located for visits to the attractions of central Florence. In particular, we loved the warmth of Clara's welcome - she could not have been more helpful and made everything so easy for us. I would not hesitate to recommend these apartments to our friends and hope we can make...

After reading other reviews on Trip Advisor we chose to stay at the Poggio Imperiale apartments. We were not disappointed. We emailed their website to get a direct price which was cheaper than others offered. We also emailed asking for advice on car hire and our emails were always answered promptly and with a wealth of information. Paying was also...

Thank you Clara for making my year long stay in Italy less stressful with providing a wonderful apartment--you were always helpful and easy to work with. We were recommended to Clara and the Poggio Imperiale by someone who lives in Florence. We are so glad that we followed her advice. The apartments were beautiful, clean, airy and in a great location. You will not be in the bustling heart of Florence which can be noisy. Everything is a walk away, or a bus is convenient if...
