It is a hostel rather than a hotel so make sure you know what are the differences before you book here. I have nothing bad to say... i mean i was given the room that i booked online, toilet's clean enough and exactly how it was described as and external one. Location's great with shop and restaurants nearby. Couldn't really... More

- no one was ever at the hotel. So if you need anything don't bother looking for the host. This also didn't make me feel safe because since there is no one at this "hotel" you don't know who might come in - bathroom FULL OF MOLD - no one makes your bed. they just throw the towels (some with... This hotel looks a little shabby outside on first impression, but once you are inside it is warm and clean. The room we had was small but perfectly adequate for us. Our bathroom was across the hallway, which was a little inconvenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even collected me from the airport. It was not noisy... More

We took a 3 night reservation through booking.com at Locanda Pitti, afterwards we decided we would rather spend 2 nights so we called the owner to tell her we would be arriving one day later. She told us there was no problem. When we arrived the owner was not present for the check-in (it was around 7 pm) we had... More

Large room with bathroom attached. Tea, coffee and fridge in room. Wireless internet with no problem. Only one flight of stairs to climb and owner very friendly although spoke only Italian. The only problem is that there is no way to contact the owner if you have a problem except by phone, which is of course only possible if you... More

In that fine line between a good value and a dump, sometimes photos can be deceiving. This very small hotel is really a boarding house with 2 or 3 rooms adjacent to management/owners family living area. One flight walk up, decent location and very kind young lady (who spoke very little English) at check in. That's it for the good... More

The hotel is located near the train station (7 minute walk). The rooms have everything you need (tea, coffee, tea, new toilets ...). The hotel also has a supermarket, where you can buy something for breakfast. In one of our rooms even had washing machine (which is needed for a large number preezdov from city to city). Before Piazza Duomo... More

I wanted a cheap room in Florence, and found Locanda Pitti online. When I booked the room the owner assured me that it had a private bathroom. When we got there we discovered that although we didn't have to share a bathroom, we did have to exist our room and cross the hallway to get to the bathroom. This wasn't... More

“The room without en suite is small, but probably cheaper as it is a double, and the others sleep 2+people. Lock the bathroom door if you choose the one without en suite.”
