Booked this B&B for a ten-day visit with my daughter. They have converted a building from the thirteen hundreds into a very modern and comfortable space. The location is away from the crowds and only a ten-minute walk over one of the bridges to the city center. The area has many very good restaurants and cafes along with piazza Saint...

We arrived almost at midnight however the hostess was very nice and we felt right at home. The room was big and the bathroom well equipped. As the breakfast was arranged the night before we could have breakfast any time we wanted in the morning. The only negative was that there are some steep stairs and no elevator on the...

Can't recommend this place highly enough. Cute rooms, phenomenal location, excellent hosts, mindblowing cappuccino. Details on the beams were cool. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Honestly I can't wait to go back to Florence to stay here & do some more exploring.

Breakfast was wonderful - orange room was spacious - great for a family of 4. Bathroom was a bit small. Location of the B&B was very good - easy walk to all the sites! several restaurants and markets very close.

Recently spent four days/nights in Florence, IT. Stayed at the B&B Bonsignori where we had a great room in a great location for exploring all the city has to offer. Just around the corner from the Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens & easy walking distance to all the most popular sites in Florence. Highly recommend!!!

Such a wonderful place to stay. Elisabetta was amazing when greeting us and suggesting places to visit. Most everything thing was available to us even a phone to make local calls which made calling a taxi easy. Breakfast was great, the chocolate cake was to die for! My only negative would be the several flights of stairs - quite difficult...

Wow! What an amazing B&B. The hosts were amazingly welcoming. The rooms are so well decorated and thoughtfully put together. The location couldn't be better with all the main streets right outside the door. A bonus is he legendary pizza place called Gustopizza. This is one place I will be recommending to all my friends.

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
