Our room was large with a hotplate and kitchenette. The A/C control was taken away by the manager because it was deemed "too early in the year" for it. The fan control was also on the control so we couldn't use that either. Hotel was convenient. Wood floors but not too clean. Shower was the smallest I ever was in....

The issue with this hotel is that it should not be labeled as a bed and a breakfast because there is no breakfast. It should not be labeled as a hotel either because there is no lobby, no receptionist, or any other hotel qualities. This place should be labeled as an apartment because it is just that. Upon arrival we...

Very small hotel 5 mn walking from the duomo of Florence, very spacious room but the bathroom in not clean enough and we hear everything that happens in the hotel. Parking space is 23€ for the night, and it is very complicated to find a correct parking space in the city center

a horrible experience. all those negative reviews are truthful. I was so disappointed in this B&B. This has to be the worse place I have stayed. It is dingy and musty smelling and not very clean. On arrival at the B&B there is no receptionist to greet you. You have to telephone and someone appears 10-15 minutes later to check...

This is a dirty and cluttered place filled with unnecessary junk & plastic flowers! The beds are two uncomfortable cots pushed together. The hot water did not work one day and the bathroom smelled of sauerkraut emanating from a drain. Absentee-Owner Lititzia brought us a lemon spray to mask the horrible odor after knocking on our door at an inappropriate...

PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very bad at first that the entrance door was closed as you had not been aware to advise your arrival time. One resident kindly opened the door,we rang thru telephone on the wall and finally somebody came to check us in. 30 minutes lost. She repeated that we were indipendent,i.e.we had to make our breakfast...

On arrival at the B&B there is no receptionist to greet you. You have to telephone and someone appears 10-15 minutes later to check you in. The person who checked us in was not aware of our booking and had to keep making telephone calls to confirm details. The rooms are cluttered and not very clean. The shower and the...

An authentic Italian experience (I think!). The room was big, bright and had loads of character. The ac was noisy and smelly but was greatly needed as it was quite warm. The street below was very noisy and there were a lot of ambulances as hospital is around the corner. The bathroom was basic, a little cramped but fine. Our...

I was so disappointed in this B&B. This has to be the worse place I have stayed. It is dingy and musty smelling and not very clean. Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
