My Husband & I chose this B&B from Booking.com and we were so glad we did. The building was beautiful, located a 20 min walk from the city, which gave us a chance to see the many small alley ways on route to the main centres. The breakfast was basic but ample and the hospitality was great. Very well priced,...

We had a wonderful experience with Margherita Martini at B & B Martini. We felt very comfortable with the "hire car" sleeping in the lock up garage. The room was very spacious for 3 mature ladies. Margherita was a lovely hostess, even though she has limited English and we had not Italian at all, we communicated well. A beautiful breakfast...

In my 40 years of traveling throughout Italy B&B MARTINI has earned high marks for the respect and care lavished on this 4th generation family home. I was received as an honored guest by the delightful hostess (I speak Italian, but her English, while limited, is adequate for experienced world travelers). It was a privilege to learn the history of...

Superb Florentinian palace tranformed to a pleasent confortable, clean, spacious place to stay if you are passing by Florence and want to be close to town. Mrs Margherita is very helpful and attentive though a little bit shy to start with. Loved the place!!!!!

The position of the B&B is perfect, because its very calm and only 10 minutes (by foot) away from the central points of the city. The rooms are clean, the furniture of the B&B is very elegant, the breakfast is tipical italian :-). If you come by car you can rent a parking place in the garage of the B&B....

My husband, son, and I were in Florence for an evening and had a very pleasant stay at B & B Martini. The location is very classy, old style Florence, not far from the major attractions. Although the entry is a bit dark, we had a lovely spacious triple room and bathroom. The bathroom was not ensuite, but there is...

Imagine what a warm welcome at a B&B can be. Now imagine just the opposite and then you will have a fair idea of what to expect at B&B Martini. Though the host was helpful the first day to give us some good tips about the city, it was quite hard to get a smile out of her. Reading in...

We found our stay a delight. This was our first trip to Italy and I was a bit uneasy about staying in a private home. But, the hostess made our stay a dream. She helped us find the right buses to travel; suggested several local resturants; and even helped us get train tickets to Rome. Before our arrival, she made...

If you are going to Florence, Italy (Firenze, Italia) and you want to enjoy your stay in this lovely city, DO NOT stay at the B&B Martini, especially if you are an American! Despite the fact that it is a nice home, with fairly spacious bedrooms in a nice part of town, near the historic section, it is not the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The B&B Martini is situated in Florence, on the first floor of an upscale apartment house, built at the beginning of the 20th century. The city centre is within walking distance, while the railway station Campo Di Marte is located at just 200metres. The B&B Martini perfectly matches the peace and quiet of a residential neighbourhood, to the proximity of the town centre, an out-and-out wealth of universal artistic masterpieces. The local means of transport, very close to the B&B, grant a comfortable and pleasant connection to reach the panoramic viewpoints of the city, such as San Miniato al Monte and Michelangelo square. The kindness and willingness of Mrs. Margheria, who has been devoted to the B&B since 2000, will offer you an unforgettable stay, which will meet your expectations, and which will be marked in our hearts. Your stay will definitely be an experience to share and, why not, to repeat. ... more   less
