This little gem, in a quiet neighborhood, sits up against the hills with a lovely garden in the back. Florence is small enough to walk everywhere, if you're in good shape. The cobble stone streets can be pretty hard on the feet and knees, but there is a convenient bus line near the B&B. Donatella is charming and wonderfully helpful...

We found B&B Monte Oliveto on Tripadvisor and are so glad we booked our stay there! It is situated perfectly in the quiet but thriving neighborhood on the other side of the river. The lively birds in the abutting park are the perfect way to start the day in Firenze. Donatella makes an amazing breakfast, cappucino, and even gluten-free treats...

Stayed in this perfect little B&B for 4 nights in April with my boyfriend. Wisteria room was clean and spacious with a lovely balcony over the garden. It is the hosts that make this place special. Donatella and Marta were so welcoming and couldn't have made us feel more at home in their beautiful house. They gave us loads of...

My husband and I stayed two nights at this B&B for our honeymoon. Donnatella is an amazing host, she provides a yummy spread in the morning with organic ingredients. She's very sweet and we really enjoyed talking about the history of Firenze with her! The rooms are cozy and clean, we felt right at home! The center of the city...

This place was great. Donatella was really welcoming. She made me a DELICIOUS breakfast every morning. I love organic food and everything she prepared was beautiful and of great quality. The location was perfect for me since it was close to a school that I was attending for 2 weeks. It is about a 20 minute walk from the more...

Donatella is a wonderful hostess, serves a 5 star breakfast and provides great suggestions for dining and site seeing. Our room, The Wisteria, was very large with a balcony and large bathroom. This location is across the river from central Florence; however, it is a very easy walk; and, you are close to good restaurants and Gelato. The shared bathroom...

Overall this is the best B&B available in florence! The neighborhood is safe and close to everything. The rooms are large, quite and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was extremely clean and the breakfast was five star. If you have been looking all over trip advisor for the perfect place... Look no further because you have found it!

I was fortunate to have the opportunity of staying at B&B Monte Oliveto last month. Donatella was the best! She was extremely warm, friendly and most of all sincere. She circled all of the places on a map that I was to see during my 3 day stay and none of them let me down. The breakfast was outstanding, fresh...

We were fortunate to spend a week at B&B Monte Oliveto with Donatella and Nicolo in the middle of November. The Wisteria room was spacious and very comfortable, with an ensuite, a balcony and nice view. Donatella was the perfect host, so friendly, and very helpful, with lots of great advice about the neighbourhood, and Florence in general. Being an...

Firenze was lovely also because we stayed in a lovely residential area just a short (20-25 min) walk from Ponte Vecchio and all the good bits. It was great to explore an alternative Florence far from the maddening crowds (although nothing compared to the absolute hysteria-inducing mayhem of boorish Rome) on the opposite side of the Arno compared to the...
