Good location, on the Main Street, very close to Piazza Garibaldi where the bus from the station stops and departs. (The bus departs for the station on the hour, but does not run on Sundays). Quiet. Massimo is a very good host. The breakfast consists of a coffee & croissant in a nearby cafe on presentation of a voucher. Our... More

We arrived at Rugapiana Vacanze and after a quick bell push we were warmly greeted and shown inside, given a good guide to the city and then we were off. The apartment was spacious with two big bedrooms and a pull out sofa bed. It is cleaned every day and the beds are comfortable. If you don' t mind quirky... More

My husband, daughter and myself were passing through Cortona and booked one night at this B&B and stayed on the second floor. My daughter was given her own room, which was very spacious, comfortable and had also her own bathroom with shower. We had the facing apartment which included a full kitchen, closed bedroom and bathroom with shower. Even though... More

Despite what is advertised, the hotel has no air conditioning, just a fan. Ours was broken, just made a lot of noise. Location is great, right on the main street, however if your room is at the front of the hotel this makes it incredibly noisy! We could not sleep at all. Had to ask to change rooms the next... More

The first thing you encounter in Cortona is Massimo and he makes you love it already. He is the nicest guy, makes you feel at home, and tells you all you need to know about Cortona. We had the top floor room so there was a bit of a walk up the stairs, but really not a problem. The room... More

When we arrived, Massimo helped us with our luggage and then told us about the area. He was extremely friendly and provided great customer service. The room was very charming and included a kitchen, dining table, and couch. It was tastefully decorated, as was the stairs leading up to the rooms. It was centrally located, and breakfast was a short... More

My sister and I came to visit my daughter who was attending UGA in Cortona. We were there about 8 days. we did the 2 room with kitchen on the second floor....which is actually the third floor as there is no first floor (or elevator) For me it was difficult as I am a substantial woman with bad knees. That... More

We just returned from a magical stay in Cortona at Rugapiana Vacanze. We stayed in one of the apartments, which had a full kitchen, dining table, couch, entryway and spacious bedroom all tastefully decorated in Tuscan charm - we even had a small washing machine! It was great to come back with leftovers from our meals and snack on them... More

We booked the two bedroom apartment - and it was beautiful. Wonderfully kept and fantastically decorated. We slept in the back bedroom, and my Mother had the front room, which she said was a little noisy, but nothing to stop her sleeping at all. After reading previous reviews, we were aware of the stairs up to the room, but they... More

Massiamo gave us a fabulous greeting. He was very friendly and helpful and recommended a great wine bar which we went to nearby which also has free wifi. Our room was just what we needed after a very rainy grey day. It was large, comfortable and warm and beautifully decorated, very luxurious I thought. It had a TV fridge and... More
