The hotel is set at one of the highest points with a magnificent view over surroundings and the Etna peak. Our room had a wonderful large terrace, slightly old fashioned room, very clean. Big problem with the bathroom that desperately needs updating - almost impossible to get the mixer tap to work. Either cold or boiling.

Booked this hotel without really knowing if it was easy to get to the pedestrian parts of the old city from here. Turned out it was really easy and a very short walk away. Also the bus from the train station stops right outside which was extremely handy. Staff is friendly enough. The pool area on top of the hotel...

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a two week trip, so that we could visit Etna. The hotel was in a fantastic location, with amazing views of the coast and the volcano. We had a room with a terrace and the view was stunning, likewise from the breakfast room and bar/lounge. As stated before, the rooms are...

We have just spent 3 nights here with some friends. The location is excellent just on the fringe of Taormina. On arrival we were made welcome and the staff could not do enough for us. The rooms could be classed as fairly basic but you don't go to Sicily to sit in your room! The sea view rooms are the...

Decent sized rooms with large sunny balconies. The views of the coast and mountains are fantastic. Well positioned for the Main Street and restaurants. The walk back is up hill and a flight of steps, be warned, but this is a feature of the town and is the same pretty much at every hotel, part of the charm. The bar...

The hotel is well situated, with a five minute walk to the main area via a walkway of steps. Unfortunately the hotel itself is showing its' age and although the rooms are adequate, the bathrooms are on the small side. What the hotel lacks in modernity however is made up for by the the professional, courteous and efficient staff. The...

We stayed for four days at the beginning of September. It is a little dated, the bathrooms are small and do seem to pick up smells from elsewhere from time to time, which is not pleasant. The breakfasts are average - but: Service and staff: we found the staff on the whole to be very helpful and flexible. The rooms...

This is the sister hotel to the Mediterranee Lido but I think it offers better location being closer to the centre of Taormina and better value for money. The hotel offers free access to Lido beach but to be quite frank it’s not the best beach. In my opinion you’re better of going for your sunbathing to Isola Bella. The...
