Great hotel with spectacular view from the balcony. Extensive and excellent breakfast with very friendly staff. We ate few times at the restaurant near the pool and it was also good place for snacks, pizza etc. Really nothing bad to say, just take consideration the steep hill to hotel (like elderly people). We had a rental car and the parking...

We have been to Taormina some years ago and this time for New Year we decided to re visit this enticing place. We stayed at Monte Tauro Hotel which I must say one may enjoy fantastic views of the sea and even of mount Etna from the bedroom. However, this hotel is situated in the middle of a very steep...

I stayed in room 605, but there are no bad rooms. Since the hotel is perched right on cliff, all rooms face glorious views of Giardini Naxos and Mt Etna. It is beautiful to just sit on your balcony and watch the twinkling lights on the river. The room was spacious with a very nice bathroom. I prefer soft pillows...

Perched right on a cliff edge this brutalist modern hotel offers a comfortable retreat from the weather and street crowds. The room was fine, the breakfast extensive and excellent, and the staff friendly and helpful. The pool looked inviting from above but was closed for the winter. There are two oddities... One a curious and unacceptable restriction on the number...

Great hotel, with spectacular views of Giardini Naxos and Mt Etna. We booked the Junior Suite which was very spacious, comfortable and well-designed. Reception service was impeccable. Building itself has some great aesthetics.

We'd booked a classic double room with terrace and sea view, but on checking in we were upgraded to a junior suite. The hotel, which clings to the edge of a steep cliff, was designed by a Roman architect (surname of Gatta) in late 1960s and built in 1970. It has a classic modernist aesthetic and some striking features, such...

The service, staff, facilities and amenities are excellent. The driveway leading to the town is steep so good walking shoes are imperative. There is car service to take one to the top of the driveway, though we never used it. Pay the extra amount and select a room with a view to the sea. Its worth it. Breakfasts were superb.

The hotel is on eight floors starting with reception and ending in a lovely pool. Because it clings to the slope all rooms have a sea view and balcony. Everything is good quality, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast buffet very good. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There is parking at 10€ per night, but you need...

We loved this place, staying for 9 nights in October 2016. Blessed with fantastic weather we made much use of the pool terrace, enjoyed the views both from here and the breakfast room. The hotel is built into the side of the cliff and hs aslightly quirky feel with modernist styling and architecture that we loved.Concrete can be really cool!...
