Nothing bad to say about this hostel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and you get a good breakfast for fair prices. But the highlight is the family that owns the hostel, they are so friendly that you feel immediately like beeing at home.

This hostel has clean rooms to offer and good amenities - The number of people to bathroom ratio is very good, which I consider very important. What is great about this hostel is the very thoughtful, hospitable staff. Gianni and his staff make a huge effort to make the stay at their hostel a pleasant one - they offer you...

Gianni House shaped my whole experience in Sicily. This hostel is run by a Sicilian family and they make everyone feel welcome. On arrival, the staff provide you with maps of the area and a nice introduction. The hostel is placed in the lovely area of Giardini Naxos, but is only a bus ride away from Taormina. This way you...

I stayed in Gianni House and i had a very pleasant time there! This place is perfect even for backpackers and also to people that want a comfortable place to stay, without paying that huge amount that the hotels used to charge. All the rooms are impeccably clean, with air condition\ventilator, own bathroom, lockers, breakfast and one side of the...

Clean. Regular rooms, old beds. No price-room relation. Not very good location, too far away from taormina center. No places nearby to go out at night. Bad breakfast. On the other hand, nice staff! Once you get there they give you maps and tips of how to move around.

I stayed at this hostel 3 nights in a 6 bed female dorm. The room was very clean, had a bathroom, balcony and air conditioning.... Breakfast is included and at arrival the staff gives you a map of the area and recommends you places to see and how to go to. The hostel is located not too far away from...

It was a bit tricky to park our car there as the hostel does not have it's own parking park. But in Italy it's okay I think and quite usual, especially in Sicily. We stayed in dormitory and it was quite nice. It was clean, up to date, each bed had it's reading light. The breakfast been quite basic but...

We stayed 2 nights in this hostel and we were pleased by the experience. It is a very original hostel with a terrace on the roof and nice balconies and common areas. The rooms were clean and comfy but the pillows were a bit large and not everyone enjoyed them. The breakfast was very nutritive and is free, and the...

We were supposed to stay here for 4 nights but we liked it so much we stayed for 5. The owner was very helpful even when we arrived really late at night. It's in a great location, 5 minutes drive from Taormina and a 5 minute walk from the bus terminal and the beach. The girls working there were very...

My fiancé and I are backpacking through Europe for 12 months on a tight budget. Our review below is an indication of the experience we had at the Gianni House. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm room with a private bathroom. Pros - Kitchen facilities. An excellent way to stick to our budget. We cooked most of our meals...
