The hotel is set in a historical and very beautiful building and very central in car free zone of Syracuse old town. Hotel very clean, The staff very kind and professional. Restaurants, the old town all major touristic attractions are few step away. It makes the perfect journey in Ortigia!

Clean, comfortable hotel with great view and location. Just steps to the Duomo and huge piazza. Lots of casual restaurants and shops nearby, and a short walk to the sea and other sights such as the ancient temple remains and fountain. Staying in Ortigia was a great decision with everything of interest so nearby. Took a short boat trip which... More

Antichoc Hotel Roma is definitely an hotel we would recommend. Apart from the excellence of service, perfect location and amazing breakfast, we have to attest that the hotel really well managed an issue we had there. Indeed we had a problem with our car and the hotel really took its responsabilities while we already left the hotel and were back... More

This is the place to stay if you visit Ortigia. Just off the Duomo and with huge breakfast spread. Clean, comfortable and very helpful staff. Does have car parking but expensive (EU20/day) and impossible to reach by car due to pedestrian only roads. The top attic rooms are not so good if you are looking for views.

This lovely Italian hotel is the perfect spot to explore Ortagia and Siracusa. Right in the heart of the island backing onto the Duomo and its square. The staff are genuinely helpful and welcoming and has a lovely family style atmosphere. Rooms are well appointed, airy and most have a view. Breakfast is excellent, continental in style with copious fruit... More

Stayed here for 4 nights, it was a fantastic base to explore Syracuse. The hotel is right on the central piazza, with many bars, cafes and restaurants a short walk away. Despite the central location the hotel was quiet at night. Our room (109) was a good size with nice high ceilings. The bold colour scheme in the bathroom really... More

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights commencing 28th August 2016. We arrived at Catania Airport pretty late and were picked up by taxi which we had arranged via the hotel and on arrival at reception we received a warm welcome from Francesco who took us to our very large garden suite & spa (room 108).... Very well located in the center of the beautiful city of Ortigia. The hotel is very nicely designed and the common areas are very charming. The rooms are standard but comfortable. The staff of the hotel is very friendly, kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast and extremely nice location of the restaurant. We had a great stay.

We stayed at the hotel from 29 August to 4 September as we were supporting GB at the Canoe Polo World Championships that were held in the marina between Syracuse and Ortigia. Our main requirement was to have a hotel centrally located within a 10 minute walk of the pitches . This charming hotel with friendly staff met our requirements.... More

Located in a must see town. Difficult to drive to the property, although management gladly parked our rental car and brought our luggage to the hotel. Travelled with my wife and two kids. Very large room, although it is an old property and a bit dated furniture, etc.. Tiny balcony which was a bit disappointing our first night in Sicily.... More
