This was the most expensive of the 5 hotels we stayed in in Sicily this month and the only one that required a 30% deposit to secure the booking - although we were the only guests the first night. Another couple stayed on our second and third nights. They had booked 3 nights but not surprisingly left after 2. We...

A very warm and welcoming place with Silvana, the owner, as the ever smiling center of it. Our daughters of 6 and 8 begged us to stay another night. Interesting collection of plants, very good olive oil, wonderful breakfasts. Not very luxuruous though, it's basic, the overall atmosphere is the main attraction.

This place is perfect for a nice and peaceful visit of the Syracusa region. The location is perfect, located close to the beaches and close to the city. What you only need is a car! Silvana is very hospitable and gives good information about the region. The breakfast is great, it is a generous buffet served in the beautiful garden,...

We had enjoyed our previous stay at Erbavoglio last September and were so much looking forward to going back, we couldn't have been more disappointed! The place is going to the dogs, literally -seven of them now plus an undetermined number of cats and kittens, too many to count them all. The puppies were great fun, their poo less so....

Paradise for nature lovers, with lush vegetation and plenty of animals, not just the family dogs and cats but also frogs, fish, birds, lizards....We spent nine blissful days in this fragrant little garden of Eden, staying in one of Erbavoglio's cozy guest casitas. There are four, each individually and whimsically decorated by owner Silvana with flea-market treasures. A generous and...

Who does not want to stay in a room that opens to a beautiful garden, smelling of orange blossem, full of twittering birds? And being pampered by the warm-hearted hostess? Erbavoglio has it all; for those who like being in the country side it is like living in a fairy-tale. And near to Syracusa and other very interesting places! Thanks...

Erbavoglio, is the nicest agriturism place in the whole world for me!! It really is a Paradise, full of flowers, herbal plants, olive trees, great smelling bergamot trees and so much more. I really cannot describe how wonderful this place is, the photos shown on the website and trip advisor cannot show the actual beauty of it, you have to...

Staying at the erbavoglio was like visiting long lost relatives on their farm, if your relatives happened to be devoted herbalists who live in organic groves of olive and citrus near a UNESCO world heritage site. The rooms are simple but ample in size, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. Breakfast is served outside in the covered gazebo and there was always...
