This is a nice hotel, good value and in an ideal position. We stayed for three nights wanting a break and to visit the archaeological sites. We booked a standard room, the cheapest option, via Expedia. The room we were initially shown to was not appealing, having two closed view windows (looking at nearby walls a few feet away) On...

The hotel and location is perfect, however, we encountered what appeared to be sewer gas coming from the bathroom. The first night they said it was the wind direction and proximity to the water. The second night they said they would have the maid put detergent down the sink. The third night we had figured out that by leaving the...

I was driving here from Noto, pulled up Trip Advisor and found this lovely little hotel, booked a room for two nights with one click, perfect location, staff is friendly and efficient, got a beautiful room with a huge terrace looking out over the Ionian Sea, little baby waves, many places to go down and walk on the beach. Perfect...

Let me start by saying we like everything about this hotel. The location on the sea is wonderful, and is easy walking distance to the old fort and the Piazza Duomo, as well as many good restaurants and countless shops. Our room was spacious, spotless, and full of light, with a wonderful view of the sea. Beds are great, as...

Very friendly staff, and a comfortable room. Short walk to Duomo in Ortigia and plenty of restaurants to choose from. There is a lively market in Ortigia and a very cheap bus service is available. There is also a sightseeing bus which cost €5 taking you around Syracuse. Breakfast is available but unfortunately you have to dine out for dinner....

We had booked just one night but extended for another because we really liked this hotel and of course Ortigia. Our premium room was large and offered a nice view of the sea. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We got to the hotel by car without problems, thanks to sat nav, and had our car valet parked...

I LOVED this hotel. my room was on the second floor, overlooking the sea. and every day i had a napped and listened to the sea. Ortigia is small so everything was in walking distance but i came too early in the year, so not many things were open. added to the is the fact that saturday / sunday/ monday...

Always enjoy staying at this hotel for the comfort of the rooms and the great ocean frontage. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops and the local fish and fruit/vegetable market. Staff are friendly and professional. If driving, ensure that your GPS is up to date as the one way streets can make arriving there difficult. If at first you...

Stayed with a friend. Typical nice small hotel in a good location. Everything was good until breakfast. At breakfast my friend filled his small bottle with water from a big bottle. The waiter started to yell at him that the water is only for consumption with breakfast. My friend said: ok charge my account for this. But the waiter kept...

This charming old hotel is in Ortygia, the old part of Syracuse, so not convenient for the archaeological sites nor museums, but set in such a pretty old town, surrounded by the sea, that it is worth the slight inconvenience. The rooms have all been well modernised and we were fortunate to be given a huge room with dual aspect...
