A very nice hotel in the newer part of palermo, yet still very lose to all the major sites. Nice breakfast and nice modern rooms. The parking is a little bizarre as there is self parking in a little dungeon of a parking lot across the street. Very little room in the garage and as bait stressful to park there.

Plaza Opera Hotel, Via Nicolo Gallo, 2, 90139 Palermo. Central location in the new city, on the border with the old city. Easy walk to many shops and restaurants, four corners, etc. Loudest street noise ever. Would be an issue for light sleepers, perhaps there are rooms that don't face a street. No wash cloths. Shower had a high step...

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights while in Palermo. We weren't disappointed as though the room was small, it was nicely air conditioned and the front desk staff quite friendly and helpful. The hotel is not so bad but probably it's time to renew rooms and infrastructures and improve the breakfast. In my opinion it's not a 4stars... maybe an average 3s. Avoid single rooms, you have the tubes of waters just behind the wall and cannot sleep when others have a shower. I don't think I'll come back.
