I've been in Palermo 2 days for business. Friends of mine recommended me Ambasciatori Hotel and it was fantastic. First of all the Hotel is on one of the main road in Palermo and closed to main locations. Second, the Hotel is pretty renovated and very fine. Third, the personnel is very very polite and kind and the last but...

The staff, in particular Sandro, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The location is great and close to all the sites. Our room was clean and spacious. We recommend staying at the Ambasciatori Hotel to everyone want to visit Palermo.

I was in room 101 which is a huge triple room (king bed + twin). The hotel is on a very busy and loud street and this room is on the front of the hotel so there was a lot of road noise There was a fridge and kettle but oddly no tea or coffee so come prepared with your...

Best position in Old town of Palermo. All the interesting spots in footwalk distance. Nice and helpful staff. Phantastic rooftopp place for breakfast and dinner (in summer). Hope the historic elevator will have a long life. Peter

We stumbled across this hotel on New Year's Eve when we couldn't find a decent bar for an aperitivo. Wonderful view from the terrace and good prices. Can't comment on the rooms but the location is great.

We stayed for two nights at this small older hotel that has plenty of stairs and an old style elevator. It reminded me of the hotels we stayed in 40 years ago when we were traveling in Europe on $5 a day. Our room was small and a bit grim with 2 pairs each of shutters and windows. These did...

The hotel was clean, the staff helpful and pleasant, the room sufficient but not outstanding, and the location close to many of the important sites. The lift was small and not always working. The breakfast was fine, and on the rooftop with great views of the city. I would stay there again.

This was our first room in Sicily on a group tour of 25 US off season. Lovely view from roof. Room spacious. Breakfast very nice and everything clean. Elevator was bipolar at times and necessitated needless stairs. Needs updating in this amenity. Easy walk to train and bus station. Several eateries close by. Would recommend this hotel.

The pluses - good location, great roof top breakfast and dinner area with wonderful views, interesting elevator that you will never see any other place, clean and my room was quiet. It was also not expensive. The negatives - the air conditioner was not working well or at all even making the room stuffy, and there was no hot water...
