Me and my parents stayed here after my parents were in a car accident and were discharged from hospital to stay with me at the hotel. Staff were helpful and understanding at all times, and responsive to every (sometimes complex) need. We were very grateful for all the staff's kindness. They let me carry tailored food up to my parents...

This was the sixth Mercure hotel I was staying in the last two years and this was the worst after Mercure Kensington, UK. I liked all the other four and now I am scared to book a Mercure hotel. We reached around 11.30 am and the man at the reception was busy with the computer, he did not even look...

The hotel is located in the city centre which is very convenient when exploring Palermo. Ask for the higher floor as the city lives 24/7 and any lower floor can be noisy at night. I booked a superior room for three nights. The room was very spacious and larger than I expected. The bathroom was modern and very stylish. My...

Excellent location and great value for money. Breakfast included and is good. Only negatives are the AC is centrally controlled and rooms get very hot, hard to sleep at night. The minibar was not switched on, and also not the most comfortable bed. But given the price and location, this hotel represents good value.

This was a nice hotel--no complaints. The room was large (and clean) with a small balcony (but no chars to sit!). Amenities were typical, as was the buffet breakfast. The location was good, within a very short walk to shopping, and about a 10-15 minute walk to the old town and train station.

The hotel was centrally located, the staff was very efficient and service oriented. There was one person who was very rude but, we thought it was the end of his shift or he had a hard day. The rooms were adequate and clean. The shower was also nice. The buffet breakfast was included and ok

Hotel accomodation was good, but the breakfast was disappointing - not in quantity but in quality ! For example, the coffee was unacceptable - probably the worst we've tasted in Italy - and the bread/rolls tasteless industrial products. Not what was expected. This is why the overall rating is lower. Nevertheless, it must be added that the staff were helpful...

The hotel is handy if you are getting the bus from the airport. 10 minute walk to from the bus stop to the hotel. Check in was prompt although we were not given the "Ready to Visit" pack we had booked online. The explanation didn't really make sense to us. The rooms are spacious and has all the facilities you...

The Mercure is a clean, modern, well-run small hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent, having both hot and cold options, with fresh fruit, especially those wonderful blood oranges for which Sicily is famous. Our room on the fifth floor was spacious with a balcony overlooking the street. I recommend this hotel.
