We were unable to stay at the Massimo Plaza on the first night of our 4 night stay. We were put up in the nice but more downmarket Hotel Posta (part of the same company). We normally wouldn't really mind this but were a little bit annoyed for two reasons: 1) Various explanations were given for us not being able...

Hotel is centrally located, in walking distance from the sights, from shopping and from food. I will add that this is our first time traveling on somewhat of a budget, I knew I would be getting less than I was used to, but for the price this place had everything I needed. Front desk was happy and eager to book...

We got a great deal for that hotel; the staff was keen to find the best rate comparable with the one we got online. Also we needed a parking for our car and the hotel has a place for the night. As the road was blocked when we arrived on Sunday (it is a pedestrian area for part of the...

This was a nice hotel, with a very attentive staff. The room was good sized, comfortable, air conditioned, and quiet. Breakfast was delicious, it is in a great location for nightlife and dining. The only issue we had, their internet was down that night and the next day. One, this made it more difficult to plan travel routes in Sicily...

We have just spent three nights at this excellent hotel. I must say, from the moment we entered the hotel, the staff made us feel welcome. We had arrived early off the ferry from Naples, just after 7:30am, so naturally our room wasn't ready. However, they offered us the use of the pleasant, air-conditioned lounge near reception and a coffee....

This was a great place to stay for out last night in Sicily. The staff really make the effort. We were personally shown to our room and minutes later received complimentary drinks to our room. Clean room, lots of towels, everything you need. I would highly recommend people stay here.

A rare occasion of Trip Advisor reviews throwing us a googly. Upon arrival we were bowled over with the warm welcome - 10 minutes spent in our room and we realized why: the sewage-like smell was overwhelming - we later found out this was because the carpet had been been treated with a mite-killer that day and was still damp...

Dear guests, we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience happen during your stay. Location...location...location. Just remember to turn off the GPS when you get close because it's telling you to go down 1-way streets! The hotel is right across from the Massimo Theater and you can pick up the "on and off" tour bus right outside. Caution: No lifts, all stairs and because you're right outside the plaza, it does get noisy and...

We were so lucky to find this hotel, and I can't rate is highly enough. It is a small boutique hotel right in the centre of Palermo. We arrived in the hotel after a nightmare of a journey. In the last hotel where we stayed the staff were grumpy and unhelpful, so we were blown away by the level of...

We found this hotel on trip advisor. We stayed for 4 nights and the hotel is perfect. Location is great - everything is in walking distance and the hotel is just in front of Theatro Massimo.
