Very nicely refurbished historic house with lots of modern elements. The staff and owner were extremely welcoming and helpful, giving very helpful advice for places to dine out and party on just that very night. The location is very central: Both old town, shopping streets, the opera house and railway station are in walking distance. Yet the neighborhood is gloomy...

I couldn't resist the title to this review, but do not be alarmed. Almost in the middle of the Ballarò market district, hugely colourful and multi-ethnic, this exquisite B&B is heavenly. Owned and run by a team of young ladies, everything is touched by a little magic. A tasteful blend of contemporary style and vintage pieces (some from the antique...

We booked this place on a last minute trip to Palermo, and it was a surprise. Il giardino di ballaró is a boutique hotel very close to the lively mercato di ballaró and a few minutes to the cathedral. The hotel has been renovated with taste (lots of artistic details and original features) it enjoys a beautiful garden inside the...

Phenomenal b&b. Staff were absolutely lovely, location really central and in the ancient quarter, with so much to see it was safe and local and I could have walked around for hours. The b&b was the best decorated we have stayed in, lovely art work and modern/refurbished. Excellent stay and will return.

This is a very nice hotel in the lively location of Ballaro. We had a large, comfortable room. The breakfast offers an array of savory and sweet items. I love the decor, including the cool paintings and sculptures. The people who manage the hotel are extremely nice and helpful.

We have just stayed at this B and B and had a lovely time. The room with balcony overlooking the street was fab as was the breakfast room and the breakfast. Staff were really helpful too. Although the area is quite rough I never felt anxious about walking around at night indeed it felt quite safe and very lively!!! I...

Honestly there is nothing to say. Just do not hesitate. They are welcoming. The room is nice and big. The atmosphere is charming. The location is ok (though maybe not the safest in Palermo at night). The best? The breakfast outside in a small, calm and lovely place. I recommand this place.

Couldn't have been more convenient (in the heart of Ballaro in Palermo's historic center, very atmospheric). The staff was excellent. The hotel was pretty. Please note the front desk has somewhat strange hours (as a B&B, there is not someone there 24 hours). The concierge went out of her way to help us meet all our needs in advance, though....

The location is perfect...Within walking distance of most everything. Being in the old city, there is a charm and grittiness not found in greater Palermo. As tourists, this is the area where we wanted to be. We parked our car on the street across from the B&B for three days. No problem. Our accommodations were quiet, roomy with a great...
