I stayed in Oasi Azzura for 10 days this summer. It is in a beautiful location, right in front of the sea. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and the on site restaurant serves great food. The experience was made even better by the fantastic staff, particularly Marco, Nicola and Roberto who were always with a smile and ready to help. 5 stars, thanks!

My staying in Oasi Azzurra has been part of my first trip in Italy and yes I fell in love with this land. Sicily and Oasi Azzurra stolen a piece of my heart. I cannot decide what's better, the group dances leaded by Marco or the delicious sweets prepared in their own laboratory. Everything is so nice, I am so grateful for this experience. It made my holydays. I cannot wait to come back here with all my family <3 Ps. A big hug to all the staff, you are amazing!

When I first came here I couldn't NOT notice the amazing scenery of the outlying hotel. The sapphire-coloured sea seems to breathe by itself, lying between Sicily, the Italian mainland and the nearby isles (which one can see, provided the nebulosity is low). The sunsets and the view overall are breathtaking from the clean beach (yes, the hotel is roughly 10 seconds away from the beach). The room was quite alright, although it could have used softer beds and pillows. Moreover, the view of the sea was also spectacular from my balcony. The staff were Italian. Very friendly, very understanding and always trying to make our stay better. For this I have to thank my boy Marco Cartelli, without whose hospitality, care and warmth I couldn't imagine my future stays nor this one. Amazing dishes, amazing drinks - Italian. Needless to say more. One small problem was their Wi-fi connectivity. Although it works fairly well at the ground level, none of us could get the signal from our rooms. All in all, it is a brilliant experience for those who seek quiet or for those who wish to party with friends - they have all the facilities.

I enjoyed very much my stay in this hotel (I came for the second time), that's well positioned right next to a wonderful beach, it also has a pool. The service is very good, provided by some nice, friendly workers like Marco Cartelli (the responsible person for the restaurant) and the food is tasty and diversed done by Claudio, Stello(the pizza man), Antonio and Maria. Here you can taste one of the best ice-cream in Sicily ( I recommend the pistachios one very much). The rooms are very beautiful and have great view on the beach.

We stayed there in July 2018. Overall, a nice Sicilian 3 star countryside hotel. We were absolutely impressed with a great balcony/terrace. Thank you to the Reception that for that. Advantages: -Clean sea, please beware in this part of Sicily it can get really wavy! -Nice sandy/pebble beach, free sunbeds; -Overall inside the hotel is clean; -Hotel staff (mostly Italian speaking) were nice; -Great food ordered a la carte in the hotel SABAKA restaurant! Delicious and compliments to the Chef! Areas for growth: -The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere = renting a car is a must -The room is cleaned once every 3 days; -There was a strange smell of garbage in the corridor; -Breakfast was very basic; plastic cutlery or sometimes no cutlery; no bowls for muesli, had to eat them from a plastic(!) coffee cup; quality of coffee at breakfast very poor! -The hotel is meant mostly for Italians, I wouldn't recommend it to English speaking or or other foreign guests; - Although we loved our large terrace, the local pigeons made it very dirty every morning and we had to clean it ourselves to make sure we can walk there; -Location and location: There is only 1 Shop about 15 minutes walk from the Hotel; -The only restaurant in that area is the hotel restaurant! Overall, we got ok quality for the money spent! Especial thanks to the nice lady at Reception, the driver who drove us from the airport and than back and waiting staff at SABAKA restaurant!

The good news is that our room on the 5th floor had a spectacular view of the ocean. The bad news is that though it appears the hotel caters exclusively to families and older couples on tour, the bar (which is the only happening place in San Saba) caters to all the young people in town. Even worse, the bar doesn't get cranked up until 10 at night and the loud music goes on and on and on until 1-2 a.m. in the morning. Bottom line is that although the staff was very friendly and the food we had at the restaurant was really really good unless you want to be kept awake until the wee hours of the night by the raucous bar music and noise this is NOT the place to stay. Coupled with furniture that barely even met dormitory basic standards and the incessant pigeon poop up on the fifth floor this is not a place I would recommend for anyone over 35 years old unless you like to party and stay up all night long. It seems as though the owners only care about raking in the money from older tourists and families staying at the hotel and then raking in the money from the kids at the bar and disco, hotel guests be damned.

Overall a wonderful experience. Great restaurant options in the resort. Regional Sicilian meals with locally sourced meats, fish and produce. Directly on a beautiful beach with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Non-stop entertainment all day and into the night on the beach for all-ages. Excursions available for local sites. Super friendly and helpful staff. Every guest is made to feel like family. The common areas have interesting local historical relics. There's even a grand piano available for the guests! Can't wait to go back. Keep in mind this is a seaside resort. There are no elevators. Hallways and corridors are not air conditioned (bedrooms are). You stay here to enjoy the beach and the outdoors. Messina is a great jumping off point for nearby attractions such as Taormina, Etna, Alcantara Gorge and Tindari.

This is an authentic place. It's not American. It's real Southern Italy, with A bloody history. That being said, it's a Fascinating place, but please be careful. This hotel is lovely, with great food. I unfortunately did not stay here on my First trip to Sicily from Calabria airport, My bus arrived late and I had to Find An inexpensive place to stay, by the harbor Because I wanted to take the 1st Hydrofoil In the morning to Panerea. In the Aeolian Islands .And it's a long ride. I made this mistake of a young, inexperienced woman, and stayed the night, in tiny back room home with no Electricity and a lot of spiders. I was so Terrified of being violated or robbed in My room, with no lock on the door. The price of the room was $28.00. I would never do it again. But I was young and I made a mistake. Please don't make this mistake. Messina Is expensive because it is where the hydrofoils are. It's as simple as that. Stay in the most expensive place you can Afford in Messina, should you decide to come this way. My other Summers ,that I went to the Aeolians, I went through Naples. It's easier For many reasons. And it has The Naples Art Museum which houses Masterpieces.

I stayed in the hotel with my family, we were 5 people alltogether occupying two rooms. Right after the arrival, we got the keys and animators helped us with our luggage. There is no lift, we were on 5th floor, 98 stairs from the reception i guess, but we did not mind. However, it may not be convenient for elderly. We got two rooms, next to each other. It was possible to enter the other room from a terrace. Well, it was not meant to be like that, but we used it a lot. We got one key from each room, but it was possible to leave it at the reception. The room itself was pretty big, clean, comfortable. Air conditioning in the bedroom. Wifi not directly in our room, but available at reception, on the second floor and around these places. Swimming pool - I have not been there, since you need a swimming cap, but others told me it is colder than the sea. It also has some opening hours. Beach - small, but pretty, there is everything you need. The thing I did not like was that there were some people smoking. However, it is about us, people. Sea - perfect, but officially you are not allowed to swim very far away, so I had to check if there are no boats when breaking the rules. But the plase is sufficient for normal people. Restaurant - we visited one, where we had to choose the meal from the list of three, one day in advance, but we did not have a problem with that. The food was perfect. I even got big portions, since the small ones were not enough for me. The food was perfect and the chef, Uccio, is he best chef in the universe! Find him, he is lovely and smiling all the time :) There is only one thing I DID NOT LIKE during our stay. It was the animation team. The program, in my opinion, was poor. Many of them were not able to speak English. They seemed to be nice and friendly, but because I can compare, this was the worst team I could experience so far. They invited us everyday for their show, but I have seen better ones. I would tolerate everything, it is their business, but.. once in the morning, I wanted to do some exercise as I am used to. I did not like it their way, so I waited till their exercise is done and then asked them for a yoga mat. Once they allowed me. The other time a guy gave it to me, but came after half a minute, took it from me and told me no. They did not need it. There was no program at the place where I was staying. This was not nice. Since then I stopped talking to them. Not my cup of tea. Except animation team, we did not have a single problem and could enjoy our holiday :)
