We stayed in Catania for 5 nights and had a wonderful time, partly thanks to the good advice from this B&B's hostess, Gabriella. Every morning at breakfast, she helped us plan our day and gave some very useful tips about visiting Catania, Taormina and Syracusa and about the Etna. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Catania for a few days!

Be aware 2 nightclubs , one under you and one directly across the street. We stayed here on a Sunday night and the noise finally finished at 0330 when the roller doors went down. We had an early departure next morning so hardly any sleep. The music/ noise was extremely loud. Thank god we had only booked 1 night!!!! I... More

Had a nice stay in Gem De Luxe, with a friendly staff and right in the middle of the city centre of Catania. Our room looked nice, clean and with a great artistic style. Breakfast was not very special, but just fine to start the day. There was some noise from the street on one evening.. And you can hear... More

The place is in the hystorical center of this beautiful City. The rooms are in a old hystorical building with barocco traits. Gabriella is very nice and friendly and happy to give a lot of information regarding what to do in the city. She has a strong cultural/hystorical academic background and a remarkable level of english. the rooms are modern... More

This is a very homely and comfortable b&b. Gabriella was extremely welcoming, even inviting us out one evening to experience some of the best that Catania has to offer in the eyes of a local. It's a perfect location, being so close to the airport, bus station and main shopping street of Via Etnea. I would definitely recommend this b&b... More

We went for one night and were really happy with our stay! Gabriella is wonderful - she even picked us up from the coach and gave us a full introduction of Catania even though it was some at night. She is warm friendly and extremely helpful! Our room was clean, lots of character and much bigger than expected. You are... More

We spent a week in this B&B at the end of Febuary and had a fantastic time, the help and advice we received from the staff was excellent, they booked excursions to Mount Etna and helped us to decide other places we could visit too. On arrival they gave us a great overview of Catania and the surrounding areas and... More

An excellent hotel if you want to feel part of the culture of Catania. Very well situated for the restaurants of Catania and handy for the bus and train stations. Great atmosphere and a very helpful lady in charge. Rooms are spotless and a great selection at breakfast time.

On a good day this B&B would have been awarded 4 stars by us, but ... Catania is one of those cities that people only tend to visit on their way to somewhere else. And the people of Catania are very aware of this. It may be unfair to give a less than perfect review just because your "host" isn't... More

From the moment I arrived I was warmly welcomed by the host. I love the way she decorated the B&B. Each room was different and mine was a generous size as was the bathroom. Fridge was provided, rooms were spotless, and breakfast was really good. For me the whole time in Sicily she made the best espresso. But for me... More

“All the rooms looked nice from our view, our room was at the back of the building and very quiet. The front room may have been a little less peaceful but that is only a guess as it faces the road, ours faced into a court yard of offices at the rear.”

“For piece and quiet choose a room towards the yard, for city view choose the ones facing the street.”

“Ask for a streetfront room if you love lively, ask a backroom for a meditation and quiet atmosphere but there is no balcony or view. The B&B has only 4rooms and no salon. I was very happy because of the luxurious feeling of the room and personal help of Gabriella.”
