Charming old-fashioned hotel with a bountiful breakfast and lush garden. Roberto and Aristide were wonderful hosts: they helped get us dinner after our late arrival and 33-hour trip, when we were too exhausted to move. I agree with previous reviewers: incredibly friendly hosts. Roberto helped us find a nearby supermarket where we loaded up before heading to our villa in...

Hotel Abbaruja is a great place to stay, it is situated in Pittulongu which has a lovely beach and a decent variety of restaurants within walking distance, the local shop is okay for the odd bit and does wonderful rottiserie chicken however it has limited opening times so make sure you get stocked up when it is open as there...

This hotel is full of character, and characters, all of whom are so pleasant, helpful and friendly. My favourite place was the garden, sitting in sun or shade depending on the time of day and temperature, breathing in the scent of jasmine and honeysuckle and enjoying a glass of wine or a latte macchiato ....Thank you so much for a...

Stayed here for a week in September and echo the comments from other reviews. Robert and his family could not be more welcoming from the moment we arrived to the very early hour we left a week later. It's not a fancy hotel just a good honest old fashioned hotel with a lot of charm. Rooms are good with all...

We stayed at Hotel Abbaruja for a few nights while travelling through Sardinia, as we arrived on the ferry from Civitavecchia to Olbia. The staff was very genuine and friendly, a relaxing atmosphere from start to finish. Our room was very well decorated and finished to a high standard. The nearby beach at Pittulongu is one of the nicest beaches...

We wanted something different from huge resorts holidays with tens of people and did not particularly care about a pool, as much as for a beautiful beach, that is why we chose Abbaruja. At first we were skeptical about Pittulungu and hotel, but then we saw the amazing beach only 5 min walk from Abbaruja! We've been to other Costa...

A nice little hotel close to the beach. This is not a luxury hotel and some may feel disappointed with the aesthetic. The rooms and facilities are basic but very clean and you will have everything you need. The reason the hotel ranks so highly is the service and the owners who go above and beyond to make your stay...

A charming little family run hotel in a very quiet/relaxing location that's easily accessible from Olbia airport (20-30 euros in a 20 min taxi ride or frequent buses). There's no pool, but who needs a pool when you have one of the finest beaches around just 5mins walk away? We stayed for a week and it is absolutely ideal for...
