From the moment we arrived the host, Claudio, made me and my friend feel very welcome. He was extremely helpful and kind. There was a delicious bottle of wine waiting for us in the bedroom, and a fabulous chocolate banana cake sending gorgeous aromas through the house another evening! I felt completely at home in Calciufetta. The breakfast was perfect,...

I was just four nights in Alghero, and I found this B&B very good. Relatively close to old town and coast. Host is a nice and friendly guy generously proposed a bottle of wine providing a taste of marvelous Island of Sardinia. May be I choose this property again if I come to Alghero next time.

Claudio, the host, was an excellent communicator. He emailed before out trip and offered to meet us from the bus stop in town when we arrived and was very friendly and welcoming. He even adds his own personal touch to the B&B by, very generously, offering a bottle of wine on our first night and even making home made cheesecake...

Stayed here for 4 nights thinking to get breakfast some good nights of rest. The host is a really nice guy, even baked a came, but probably not really a b&b owner type. Take it as a bed no breakfast and you're ok. It's a fair walk to old the old town and it's pretty noisy. I wouldn't go back...

“There are 3 rooms - we stayed in the largest (with wrought iron double bed and mirror), which was very nice and comfortable with plenty of space. I believe the other two rooms can be either twin rooms or double beds. I got to have a peek in one of the rooms once, and it seemed like a decent size and similarly furnished.”
