Situated on the side of the water with fabulous views across to the old city, castle and out across the water this hotel is perfect for exploring the city and surrounding area. The staff are all 5*. Speaking perfect English, very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are basic in a nice way but with crisp white linen and lovely fluffy...

I came to my hometown for the marriage of a friend. We were to many to stay home ,so I found an hotel to spend a nice time, show the town, be close to the sea and most of restaurants and pubs. This was the right place. From here to have a walk in the old town is very easy,...

An average hotel located in Taranto in south of Italy. The hotel is located in the middle of downtown so that can be nice if you dont like to walk to get to downtown. A problem we had was parking, as it can be crowded in that area. Breakfast was average, rooms were great as we got "suite-like" rooms with...

Hotel Europa in Taranto is the hotel where we could relax and feel happy. Our room on the 4th floor nr 409 was as perfect as we wanted, a two-storey room with most fantastic seaview on both seas of the city, with large balcony on the southern side making possible to sunbathe indoors. There is a small kitchenette in the...

This hotel was ideal as a stop on a longer journey. It is a little out of the way, in that it is the farthest point you can reach before crossing the bridge and then heading west out of Taranto. However, it is within easy walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. When booking ask for a high floor...

Hotel quite good. Bad restaurant, orecchiette with tomato sauce (one of the worst ever tasted) and one dry steak selled as a entrecote...ask for a salad and they didn't have it. Better go somewhere else...many places around the hotel where you can eat better and spend less money.

This hotel is quite old. From the 1930, should one believe pictures on the wall here and there. It has been renovated, and appears quite modern. There are a few peculiarities, however. The elevator is said to be able to carry 4, but they must be very good friends! The entrance to the elevator is only 55 cm wide, so...

Nice hotel, optimally situated near shopping. You can find a parking spot right below your window facing the canal. Very friendly and efficient staff. Now for the negatives...your room is a loft and your bathroom and bed are upstairs. The stairs are more ladder than they are stairs. Bed was very good which is rare in Italy. There weren't too...

I was given a first floor room with a view across the harbour. The window was from floor to about 1 metre - great view if you lie on the floor or are under six years old! Other than the view the room was perfectly acceptable. I was travelling by bike and the hotel allowed me to store the bilke...
