The hotel is situated about 20 mins drive from Verona up into the surrounding hills. The views from this hotel are spectacular as is the area in which it is situated. The accommodation is simple but comfortable and our room was immaculately clean. Our room had a little patio with views down into Verona - it was just a shame...

Definitely worth the trip up the mountain! We enjoyed the beautiful setting and great friendly staff. Our patio view of Verona was amazing! We also enjoyed the wine tour and tasting. The restaurant provided excellent dishes prepared with fresh ingredients from their farm and gardens. Corte San Mattia is a hidden charm!

We only stayed one night but I wished it could have been more. Wonderful place and amazing staff...very helpful and friendly. The room with the outside sitting area has a breathtaking view onto Verona and gets you away from the city back to repose. Highly recommend.

If you plan on visiting Verona this is an amazing place to stay. It was fantastic views over the city and the place is lovely; very rustic, the food is wonderful and the wine is fantastic. It is very accessible via taxi (about 10 - 15 Euros to Verona depending on time and day) and also bus (2 Euros return)....

Be careful of your GPS, it will take you the wrong way. Stayed three nights and enjoyed every minute. Staff is friendly and helpful. They don't get a lot of Americans but should, if you are wanting to stay in Verona this is much superior to in town digs.

This place has excellent atmosphere, best views of Verona, nicely decorated rooms with historical touch, nice restaurant - all we were looking during our travel! You will not regret the vine tasting, take your time when stay here.

Highly recommended for driving travellers for the private carpark and the commanding view of Verona upon the hill above the city. Try to join the evening wine tour and have dinner at the restaurant which is of high quality due to the fresh ingredients grown on site.

Wonderful location, calm. Super friendly staff. Restaurant excellent value for money, 28€ for 5 courses! Wine is very good especially the Amarone. Rooms in the Annex wonderful with parquet floor, large bathroom, and very quiet, very close to nature. Views of Verona unbeatable.

A very comfortable stay in the perfect place outside the city. The bus route in to the city was useful. Breakfast is delicious and the wines produced are very high quality. Be sure to do the wine tour.

Remarkable place, well worth a detour. Lunch is great view/value/money too. Note that there's convenient free parking down the hill, a short walk from the centre of Verona. Note also that the oxidative wine is not for everyone, but worth trying.

Thank Loys L
