Here is an old-traditional and historic hotel, with the amenities of a modern establishment! This hotel is not only very well located, a block away from the main square and the Arena, but the rooms are spacious, well lit, comfortable furniture, good beds, quiet streets. A very comfortable bathroom well equipped with towels and toiletries, all of this for a... More

We spent two nights for the 2016 Intimmisimo(fire and ice) show which itself is a fantastic experience, at this hotel. Our primary reason for booking it was the proximity to the Arena, however we thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The hotel is based in an old structure and has been well modernized with typical Italian flare to preserve the ambience but... More

Having been a guest over past couple of years and some years before that, I thought I'd review this hotel. Location-wise, ideal! Just behind the line of restaurants on Piazza Bra (where the Arena is & hence shopping alleys that within a 7-8 minute walk lead up to Juliets House)! It's a small, charming 4 star property with extremely helpful... More

Spent a night at this hotel while passing through Verona on business. It is certainly a bit outdated but overall a lovely experience - the room was outdated but the bathroom seemed more recently done up and was very comfortable. L'occitene bath products a lovely touch. Breakfast simple but good, good juice and nice fresh fruit salad. Very centrally located,... More

Very nice garden area off of the small bar to sit and enjoy the quietness of Verona. Rooms are generous size and very clean. Staff helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be that I couldn't open blinds for a view or just natural light. It's a bit more $ than I would spend but in this case we did... More

The trompe l'oiel in the lobby alone is worth the price. Old fashioned grace and service all round. Breakfast was excellent. We loved our visit to Verona and this hotel enhanced it. A word of warning though... we had some clothes washed and were pretty surprised at the cost.

This hotel is extremely outdated and not worth the 250,- a night we paid at all. We stayed for 3 nights. Positives: right in the centre, clean and spacious rooms as well as good breakfast. Negatives: bad price/quality, accommodating but stern staff (except for the friendly breakfast staff). Verdict: I would not stay here again.

Well positioned in the centre of Verona close to the Arena and Piazza Bra this is a convenient place to stay. However the hotel itself is very tired and long overdue a refurb. Typical of many old hotels the interior is dark and not welcoming. The dodgy lift is an Otis museum piece that keeps you waiting as a door... More

We have visited and stayed here on a number of years now, and were welcomed back by the very friendly front of house staff. The room was as clean and well provided as ever, with the elusive wifi now fixed with a strong fast signal all the time we were there-the last missing piece of the accommodation. The staff are... Excellent hotel just a few steps from Piazza Bra were the Arena is located. Refined and elegant with a very professional staff. If you arrive by car be sure to call ahead and book one of the limited number of spaces in their locked garage around the corner. Lovely breakfast. Will definitely stay here again next time.
