Everything about the Marco Polo was very good, this 3*** hotel has a 4**** feel. The hotel is about 15 minutes leisurely walk from the Verona arena. The Marco Polo is in two buildings some 60 metres apart, both on Via San Antonio, but the reception desk entrance is by the plants pots opposite the restaurant/pizzeria. The taxi deposited me...

Very nice hotel. But the pic on booking.com looks much more nicer than in real life. But you have what you need. The Cleaning lady was so nice. Breakfasts lady and man very nice they serve good cappuccino. Man in the reception to busy. Waking distance to city center

Central ... but rooms in annexe, no lobby and looks a bit basic. The annexe is not the Hotel Marco Polo. Room okay, and clean, bed comfy, but small bathroon - not luxury considering the 170 euros I was being charged ( Hotel Leon D'Oro much better value). Breakfast okay - but piggin' Nescafe again. Which was nasty.

After all the positive reviews I need to explain why only 3 stars for us, which is uncharacteristic. Our flight was delayed over 2 hours meaning we were arriving in the early hours of the morning. It must be in the small sprint somewhere but the main reception closes at 11pm ( we didn't know). We had to go to...

Very centrally located and easily walkable from the bus station (15 mins max). We had a twin room which was on the cosy size but an initial sense of disappointment quickly abated. Great character, very clean and stylishly neutral. Bathroom spacious and beautifully appointed. Great air conditioning and the best insulated windows Ive experienced. No noise from other rooms or...

My daughter and I were treated like royalty, the room was very elegant and beautiful, all amenities, including a gorgeous bathroom with an Italian shower, etc!! Great location, and the icing on the cake was the WONDERFUL hotel clerk on the afternoon/evening watch, who helped us greatly! He was so nice, extremely helpful, and gave us any and all information...

We stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon, only the first night because that's the only time we had in Verona. The room was quite basic but very clean and had everything we needed. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was great with a good selection of food available.

Spent 3 nights in this hotel on our honeymoon. We were in the annex just up the road from the main hotel, was very quiet. Room was small, but very clean, great bathroom, cleaned daily. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Helpful staff. It does state it's within walking distance of the railway station, which it is, but is a...
