We visited as part of our honeymoon in July 2015. We went to some incredible hotels on that trip but none offered the value for money of Massimago. The pool, the breakfasts, the staff, the view... all just incredible. Planning another trip asap! Also it's a short drive from Venice airport and close to Verona. Advice would be to stock... More

Beautiful rooms (some without in-suite bathroom), view of vineyards and mountains, excellent breakfast, well cared for swimming pool. We stayed over the weekend and they added a BBQ lunch without charging extra. Overall very gracious and helpful staff.

We spent a whole weekend at Massimago to celebrate our wedding with family and our closest friends. Not just me and my wife had a incredible time here but all of our guests too, and having asked all of them their opinions, they were all sincerely pleased with everything that Massimago had to offer. The pool after the party was... More

Great place for staying with family and children, very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Sexy pool and lovely sun deck. Relais is hidden away in hills minutes from excellent restaurants that we visited.

Most beautifull place to stay for discovering surroudings and having a quiet time in the Valpolicella Region. Not every room has a climatisation and charme. So choose the right one! We will recommend this wine relais to our friends.

We really enjoyed our 4 days at Massimago with stunningly beautiful surroundings in the Valpolicella wine region. This guesthouse in the original house is an incredible setting. The rolling lawns and inviting swimming pool were excellent for cooling down during the heat of July too. Pity the rooms weren't cleaned every day and that the finer attention to detail was... More

We stayed 4 nights in the "la vite charming house" (2 adults and 2 children) and Massimago delivered on all expectations. Great surrounding with pool area overlooking wineyards in the valley. Fantastic breakfast that was all homemade or locally produced. Great starting point for wine excursions around Valpolicella. Massimago’s own Amarone is officially recognized as one of the best. Excellent... More

We had had their Amarone on a previous visit to Italy and loved it, and so we looked it up and found out that they had a B&B also... so we headed there right away on our next trip. It is situated on a beautiful vineyard, and has a wonderful, warm feel. Make sure you schedule a wine tasting and... More

My Family had the most wonderful stay here. Not only was the location breathtaking; Heike, the caretaker took extra special care of us, with homemade breakfast in the morning , tours around the cantina, and of course wine tasting! The ambiance is romantic and familiar. I felt as if I was staying in my own personal villa. I am looking... More
