But the Double bed was also 2 single, merged bed:)))) Area of hotel, cleaning and the workers was ok.! But the breakfast...

We spent two nights in Venice, we chose this hotel, as we wanted to be in the centre of Venice. We got a lovely room, but we wanted a view of the canal, and the staff was friendly and very accomodating and upgraded our room to one of the front rooms. the hotel was quiet, very, very clean and well...

Needs improvement. You don't register here but at Nicole Priuli. Entryway has unfinished dry wall board. Breakfast is at the Nicole Priuli. Large rooms. Nice large modern bathroom. However, no hot water on our last morning. Booked way ahead and got a good rate.

This is my second time at this hotel. Last time I stayed there was in 2013. Since then the rooms were repaint and breakfast is served at 7.30. The bathroom is equipped with more amenities. The biggest drawback is the lack of air conditions. There is a kind of a ventilation system but it is inefficient. The hotel is better...

Lovely hotel! Not far from St Marks square - Zaccharia boat taxi stop. Decor was Italian style, room was clean, well appointed. We even had a small bath! Lovely breakfast room with continental buffet (and lemon torte to die for!). friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed at Ca'Priuli for three nights, it was our first trip to Venice but our experience with the hotel was very good. Very clean, helpful staff and breakfast was very nice and most importantly the bathrooms were newly renovated and the air conditioning worked !!! Overall can't say anything bad about this hotel :)

Beautiful main reception in stunning old building but a walk around corner to our room in different and less attractive building. Our view from room was typical Venice and quirky. Bathroom needs renovation! Old shower curtain especially. So ask if youre going to be in the main hotel or the sub standard building around the corner!

Firstly let me say I can't understand why this place has the negative reviews on here, one can only assume people either have extremely high expectations to the point that they are never satisfied or they have had some unfortunate mishap that left a sour taste. Personally, my partner and I could not fault this hotel. Yes, some parts are...

Staying in Castello

Neighbourhood Profile
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
