We stayed here a few days ago and it doesn't get any better than this! The room was large, comfortable and decorated wonderfully! Very quiet at night and a terrific bed. Modern bathroom with the largest shower we have seen on this trip. Breakfast in your room. we will be back! The staff could not have been nicer and more...

It was pretty challenging for us to get to the B&B. As most places in Venice is like a maze, this place is no exception. However, when we reach the B&B and went to our room. We were pretty pleased with the nicely decorated venetian room, with decent size, pretty big bathroom & clean. Apart from the excessibility from the...

We stayed here for several nights during our honeymoon. The room was gorgeous, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and we had everything within walking distance. The B&B is on the other side of the river from St. Marks, which is nice because things are much calmer and less chaotic. When we arrived, they had left a bottle of...

Ca Bonvicini was a small B&B within walking distance to the daily fish and farmers market, and all of the main sites in Venice. This quaint little B&B was charming, clean and perfectly located. The neighborhood was perfect for our first visit to Venice, putting us a stones throw from great restaurants.

Ca'Bonvicini has everything you would want in a hotel: good location, midway between the Rialto Bridge and the train station, not too far from San Marco but quiet, nice rooms, helpful staff and tasty breakfast brought to your room each day. The only flaw in an otherwise excellent offering was the hotel's confusing description of its location. Their email to...

Placed in the very center of Venice, you rest in wonderful rooms with all the venetian luxury you dream of... You get your breakfast served into your room and after that you can get everywhere you want by a short walk. After being the third time at Ca' Bonvicini, I can truly recommend this great stay for couples who want...

To sum up in a word "perfect" in all respects. Can't go wrong here. Well appointed rooms in beautiful home, excellent location and Sabina at the reception communicated in perfect English and was welcoming and extremely informative. Thoroughly enjoyed our short 2 night stay. A great place - will definitely go back!

I basically have nothing but nice things to say about Ca' Bonvicini, so I'll get the two negatives out of the way early. 1. It's a bit off the beaten path, located on a quiet street, on a canal. 2. The cable TV only has Italian channels. If those doesn't bother you, then Ca' Bonvicini is for you. The room...

We stayed at this B&B on our last visit to Venice. It was located in a convenient location to restaurants, but far enough to be quiet. Our room was large and comfortable. Bathroom was good size as well. The complimentary breakfast was served in our room every morning and it was great (continental, w cheese, croissants and coffee). The staff...

Very nice modern room. Excellent location in the center of the islands. Our room has a balcony overlooking a canal. It is a great place to have coffee in the morning. Nice continental breakfast delivered to your room in the morning

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
