We have stayed in Hotel Alex just for one night, and since we are young we didn't expect so much comfort. For that type of accomodation, the price is fair. The hotel has everything one person could need + BREAKFAST is a very important reason...More
This hotel is in the middle of very typical homes in venice, everything is beautiful and you fell just like in a romantic movie. The room was very old, but clean and classical. It is almost like a hostel, in terms of bathroom. The breakfast...More

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
