There's no elevator. The 2 rooms (or maybe 3?)are on the first floor (ground floor is just the entrance hall and breakfast room) and there's a self contained flat/room on the second floor. The stairs are fairly steep. We... More

I am surprised the person you spoke didn't speak english - the owners do speak english, so you may have spoken to the lovely lady that services the rooms. send them an email, they are pretty good at responding.
