We couldn't get a hotel in Venice due to the long weekend/holiday, so decided to stay in the nearest town. Local advise was to stay in Mestre near the train station. And this was the first choice right across the station. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny, but the location and price made up for that. The...

It is an old building with heavy doors. But the interior is very nice. The room is nice although the bed is kind of small. The bathroom is standard size for europe but ok. The breakfast does not have a lot of variety and is kind of smallfor american standards. Very european. The location is what makes it very good....

We stayed here for one night after missing our train to Munich. The hotel was a much more reasonable price than what we paid on the island and the rooms were also a lot more spacious and comfy. If I were to visit Venice again i would probably stay here and catch the train across the road to the island....

Stay : 3 nights. Location : Good. Mestre Train station across the street. Bus stop to Venezia is within 2mins on the same street. Take the No2. bus to Venice at the bus stop on the train station side. Room amenties : Wi-fi is free and speed is good, a BIG plus these days, unlike some hotels who still charges....

The summary in advance, this hotel is ok. The advantages are it´s site across the street from the railway station. If you want to visit Venice (and who would go to Mestre for any other reason) that is great. The staff is eager to help with everything even though it might be that your question asked in english will be...

On this same street you have bus station connected with airport and train station so you can drive to Venice old town very fast. Hotel small and lovely, rooms quiet and clean. Typical italien breakfast.

Though its not on the 'island' Venice per se, its very conveniently located on Mestre station. You get buses and trains to hit the centre of venice every 15 mins. Free wifi, bfast..overall Good value for money.

I would like to point out this hotel as its most important feature is the location, Situated opposite the Mestre station that leads to Venice-Santa Lucia in just 11 minutes. It has a small outdoor parking with cost. The rooms are standard, typical of a 3 star hotel. The staff was not very friendly to help us. The wi-fi does...

Our spacious, modern room is newly remodeled, fun and clean. We have two balconies over Corsa Porta Nuova, a quick walk to the center and Piazza Bra. The staff (especially Mattias) are great. And as people traveling through Europe will find, free Wi-Fi is not always available. It is at Trieste. We're very happy here and can highly recommend the hotel.
