This is a very state of the art type of hotel. The decor is very contemporary but cozy. The bathroom was gorgeous with all the modern conveniences. The shower enclosure had at least 4 massage heads, a rainfall shower head and a hand held shower wand. The towel racks were heated. The room and bathroom was extremely clean and fresh....

We loved our stay here. If you have luggage and come on the vaporetto from the train station, this is so convenient. The hotel is on the same side of the bridge as the vaporetto stop--very important when you know that the Accademia bridge has many steps. The hotel is very stylish and contemporary with warm and friendly staff. Tommasso...

Loved the hotel. Location was great. The concierge service by Tommaso was excellent. Everything from dinner reservations to train tickets. What an asset he is. We also enjoyed the complimentary water taxi to Morano. Ciao

Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, not always a given in Venice. We loved the contemporary renovation of this property and it's perfect location. So close to the Accademia, and the bridge over the Grand Canal meant you could walk to many of the sights. There are many good restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Osteria Bifora and Pane e Vino...

dear Linda S, thank you very much for your nice review which I read with attention and happiness. for us it is very important to know that our guests enjoyed their stay, especially our location - very convenient - the deco atmosphere - studied with love and professionalism - and the staff, smiling and professional, with the aim to satisfy...

Overall, very good hotel. Good location (short walk from vaporetto stop and Accademia) on quiet street. Good breakfast. Two minor complaints: Breakfast room is small and can be crowded; Bathroom design is clever, but impractical. The water from the shower head was barely more than a dribble, and the soap dispenser was at the back of the shower stall, rather...

dear Carl F, thank you very much for your positive review and the time you have dedicated in writing it. for us is very important to know how our guests felt themselves here, and if there is any small issue to correct. regarding the breakfast room, it actually seats over 30 people at the same time, and of course each...

Very cute hotel and great size room (bathroom is a bit small but has a jacuzzi bath). The service was excellent and all receptionists very attentive. The only thing I would say to work on is the cleanliness. The bathroom seemed to need more cleaning and the floors were a bit dusty. I have seen much worse, but I am...

We're at the end of a 7 night stay at Ca Pisani. This little gem on a relatively quiet street right near the Grand Canal has been a nice surprise. Decent pricing, quirky but comfortable and well appointed rooms, great bfast and most importantly, friendly, helpful and nice staff! Would stay here again and highly recommend.

Staff was amazingly helpful and proactive in providing us with directions, dining recommendations, making reservations, researching and purchasing our train tickets for us, printing out transit schedules, advising us on what not to miss and what to avoid, and more... A first rate experience for a first time visitor to Venice.

I booked the Ca'Pisani instead of my normal Hilton Hotel. The main reason for my choice was the location. The Ca'Pisani turned out to be a great find. Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighbourhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
