We first stayed at this charming hotel last year and immediately fell in love with it. We have just returned from another wonderful stay. Standout features of the hotel are: 1. Location: in Dorsoduro, about 2 minutes’ walk from Accademia and Zattere boat stops and 15 minutes’ walk from Piazza San Marco. 2. Room: we can recommend booking a deco...

A lovely hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable (although air con was tricky to fathom). An excellent location, east walk to san Marco and riatlo and easy to get both the blue and orange alilaguna.

dear Sarah I, thank you very much for the positive review and we are happy you had such a nice stay at the 'Ca' Pisani'. about the air conditioning, twice a year (with the season changing), there are a few days during which the heating is off, and the weather often changes from one day to the other. this means...

This was our third stop on our honeymoon. And they blew it out of the water. We stayed at two nice hotels before this one, however they staff and the hotel were amazing. This hotel provided a true four star experience. They were attentive to our request right away. We also were leaving before breakfast opened up our last morning...

Excellent stay at the hotel. Management staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Concierge service went out of their way to assist with reservations for water taxi to airport. Not only did they set up the early morning airport transfer they also gave us breakfast boxes to bring with us to the airport.

Ca' Pisani Hotel was in the perfect location-- away from all the hustle and bustle, but close enough to enjoy all the sites and excitement that Venice has to offer. In an area away from the tourist hoards, this boutique hotel is within easy access of anywhere a visitor would want to go, and a stone's throw from the must-see galleries. The design is unique, combining traditional Venetian and art-deco styles with brilliant flair, and creating somewhere surprising and very special.

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighbourhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
