Everything about our stay here was great. We got off the boat from the airport and had less than a minute to walk to the hotel. We stayed in one of the annex rooms, the only downside being no lift, for those who would require one. Helpfully, a porter carried our bags to the room. All the staff, including the...

We have spent 2 nights in this beautiful place and i must say it was difficult to leave. The Rialto House is just a few steps from Hotel Rialto which is just in front of Rialto waterbus station. You have to walk up quite a few steps but its worth the effort😉 If you are looking for a perfect location...

Everything you need for you stay Venice. All about the location with this place. Literally right behind the Rialto hotel (check in there) and walk through alley way and some very steep stairs to adjoining building. Don't have to wheel you bag far along cobbled stones (you will see other people doing so). Room pretty basic but large size, toiletries...

Stayed two nights here, you check in at hotel rialto and they take you out to an adjacent building and up a couple of flights of steep stairs. Fortunately the porter carried our bags up the stairs. You have to get buzzed in at two separate doors to get back to your room. The room was immaculate and bugger than...

We stayed 2 nights here before boarding a cruise. We absolutely loved the location - it was just about perfect! The room was spacious, considering the size of hotel rooms in Europe, in general. The fact that it was in the 'annex' of the Rialto Hotel didn't bother us - it was quiet. Our room had a small balcony on...

Ca' Rialto house is actually a guest house attached to the Hotel Rialto. It is located in the back alley way. You use Hotel Rialto for any facilities such as breakfast (which was plenty full). This could be very off putting for some people but in actual fact it was an escape from the crowds. And when I side your...

Nice hotel part of Rialto hotel. The location is just perfect by Rialto bridge and walking distance to San Marks Square. From the railway station to the hotel take water bus no 2. It drops you right outside the hotel. The rooms are spacious and decor very Venetian. Only one thing missing is a tea coffee maker. Would not recommend...

This is an annex to Hotel Rialto which is on the Grand Canal, right next to the Rialto Bridge. The annex is a separate house with entrance from the back street. Very dark inside. Steep stairs lead you to the rooms; there are no elevators. Our room was beautifully furnished and quite large. The bathroom was also large and clean....

Visited Ca' Rialto House with my wife and had a good three night stay. Excellent service and very friendly staff throughout our stay. Got a small but clean and neat room with a large bathroom. Not much of a view...but who cares since we were out all day and just slept in the room. The aircon was not the best...

I booked this hotel for a romantic weekend in Venice with my girlfriend and we both loved it. The location is perfect, in front of Ponte di Rialto and just 10 minutes away from Piazza San Marco. Our room was decorated in typical 18th century Venetian style; it was small, yet pretty. The hotel's staff were friendly and the breakfast...

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

“there are only 6 individually styled rooms at Ca Rialto House all of which looked spacious and beautifully italian. Great bars and restaurants near by, handy for the canal buses. We bought a 24 hour pass from the airport which gave us a bus into Venice, then 24 hour access on/off the water buses. great way to get your bearings before going out on foot.”
