Sorry don’t know the cost but would recommend as our room was dark and it would have been so much nicer to have a canal view than the back yard and a side alley.

Also Murano, Burano and Torcello well worth a visit on Vaporetto. Train trips to Padua, Verona and Treviso good but we had a fortnight to do it!
