We've stayed here several times over the last 25 years, and it's never disappointed. Post refit it has a boutique hotel feel, with lovely breakfast/restaurant views over the Grand Canal and fantastic outdoor tables in Spring and Summer. Standard rooms are a bit cramped but the upper floor Grand Canal view suites are lovely. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. San Marco... More

Just stayed 3 nights in this hotel and the location is brilliant. Its only 2 minutes walk to St Marks Sq, 5 mins walk to La Fenice theatre and you get a beautiful view of the Grand canal. The rooms are quite small but it didnt bother us as Venice is such a beautiful place that you would hardly want... More

Quiet elegant hotel which was conveniently located to Grand Canal transportation and St. Mark's Square. Did not have a problem with room size as did not spend much time there other than to sleep. Our bed was very comfortable and the linen sheets were an unexpected treat. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed our dinner the first... More

A great view on the grand canal. The location is great ( 2 min walk from San Marco ), and right at the door steps you have the vaporetto, Gondole, and Taxi stop. The rooms are quite small, but the view let's you forget about it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the complementary Taxi ride to Murano... More

I work for a renowned multinational corporation, headquartered in CH. In November of 2013 we held our annual General Manager's meeting in Venice. The highlight of the event was the gala dinner which we held in Hotel Monaco’s magnificent "Sala del Ridotto” of “Palazzo Dandolo”. The place is breathtaking, it is located in the heart of Venice on the best... More

Stayed here in April good hotel in great location . Rooms could be a little bigger but overall no problems. Very good courtesy boat to Murano Glass Factory and the water taxis are easy to get to from the hotel .

The overall experience was great, the only downside was that the rooms are quite small but nicely furnished.. Breakfast was great and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the center of Venice.

We stayed here for New Year's Eve and had a fantastic time. Our room was at the side of the hotel with no view, but was quiet and comfortable and good for the price considering it is Venice. The location was fantastic, rather than have breakfast at the hotel (disappointing) we went to Florian for hot chocolate and pastries as... More

We really loved staying here. We had actually originally booked to stay in its cheaper sister hotel (Palazzo Selvadego) just down the road, over Christmas, but when we arrived, we were told that because it was so quiet, we had been upgraded to a superior room in the main building at no extra cost. Our room was fantastic - very... More

The hotel is surrounded by a large number of clothing shops as well as quite a number of restaurants. The lobby of the hotel is quite spectacular and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
