Palazzo Venart Luxury Hotel The stunning Palazzo Venart Luxury Hotel opened its doors to the public in August 2016 and is the latest LDC luxury hotel in Italy. The five-star Palazzo Venart Luxury Hotel consists of 18 prestigious and fastidiously decorated rooms and suites, each based on a unique aspect of Venetian history and culture. Fronted by its placid garden which opens directly onto the Grand Canal, the entire 16th century Palazzo and grounds have been carefully restored to their former grandeur with minute attention to detail. The Palazzo Venart is home to twice-Michelin starred chef Enrico Bartolini’s very own one-starred GLAM Restaurant, which serves exclusive menus designed by this talented culinary artist. The 5 star Palazzo Venart Luxury Hotel is centrally located in the heart of traditional Venice. All the sights and sounds of the romantic City of Water are readily accessible to our guests. Venice, the Bride of the Sea, is perfect for your exclusive getaway.

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.

This hotel is not worth to be a five star hotel: - they have no concierge services - After 18h there is no house keeping available - After 18h there is no bell boy - The same room is used for breakfast, lunch and dinner so no choice between restaurants - very poor organisation

The setting of this hotel is truly its best feature. Housed in a remodelled Venetian palace, it really takes you back in time. It lies quite central in Venice with its own dock from which you can take water taxis and of course, gondolas. It was very easy to get to and from from

Dear taylexvhors, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback after your stay. We are glad to read that you enjoyed the convenient location of Palazzo Venart and you perceived its romantic atmosphere. It is still possible to experience the vibe of the Palazzo’s noble past although the restoration finished in 2016. On a less positive note, we are sad to learn that your overall experience did not fully meet your expectations. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused due to our staff's attitude. As reported by our Guests, our team's friendly and genuine approach is one of the strongest points of Palazzo Venart. That’s why we are truly sad to note that on this occasion we apparently failed to show our intention. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you back soon so we may restore your faith in Palazzo Venart. Wishing you our best regards, Angelo Rizzi and Palazzo Venart team

Although the Palazzo Venart is not in the St Marks area we found the location ideal for us. It is only a 15 min stroll to the Rialto & there are plenty of restaurants & bars along the way. We walked to all of the sights including the Guggenheim & didn' t find It at all tiring. ( We are both in our late 60's) Another advantage of this area is that it is much quieter than the main tourist places. The Venart has beautiful rooms & we loved it.
