If you are a biker actually a Beemer and you want to spend a couple of days wandering around the beautiful mountain roads of Valle D'Aosta there's no best choice for your base camp. The hotel is gracefully located right in the center of the village, ideal for a stroll in the evening, has a superb restaurant with excellent food... More

I stayed there on a three day boys skiing trip. The hotel is well located near the centre of Courmayeur. It has a restaurant, small lounge and a small pool with a sauna and a rather plastic steam room. The place is small and has a lot of charm. The staff were excellent - on reception as well as in... Nice and recently renovated place with friendly and helpful staff. Clean and relatively large rooms. Comfortable beds and great breakfast. We had half board which was good. Heavy and simple classical Italian food. Just what you need after a day in the slopes. Extensive and reasonably priced wine list. The pool and sauna area was ok but the sauna does... More

We traveled as a couple. Were on a long Italian trip and Courmayeur was in the last leg of our Italian journey. This hotel is a family run hotel and managed by a couple and is pretty well managed. Our inputs of this hotel are as below: 1. Cleanliness was perfect 2. Interiors had a local feel and was good...... More

The hotel is newly renovated and has first of all - a lovely married couple running it. The location is close to everything with 200 meters to walk to the pedestrian street. The rooms are very nice and the spa in the basement was very nice with two saunas and a pool. The owner has Courmayeur´s largest wine cellars and... More

This is an excellent 3 star small family hotel with a spa in the basement. The location is very convenient and the staff and owners very efficient and hospitable. BUT the place is seriously let down by awful evening food ?? The food was so bad we were concerned that the person in the kitchen was unaware of basic preparation... More

First of all the location is superb. Its right next to the Aosta bus stop and close to the start of the Tour Mont Blanc trail. The room is very spacious and comfortable and clean. The owners are sweet and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the whole ambiance of the lobby and sitting room. Our room had a great... More

We stayed here for one night during an 8 day hike around tour mont blanc. This was the one luxury we allowed ourselves, most of the other nights we camped. The hotel did not disappoint! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and by far the best breakfast I have had at a hotel in a long time. The sauna, hammam and pool... More

Even though the hotel owner doesn't believe in the authenticity of Trip Advisor reviews (he claims mostly fake!) I will not be deterred from my continuing efforts to help other travelers with my experiences. Maison St. Jean has very nice rooms and lovely views. It is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple (no eggs) but all bakery items... More
