If you find yourself in Courmayeur, Italy, you must search out Hotel Dolonne, a privately owned and operated small hotel and restaurant. The dining room is exquisite. We had lunch there. They do serve dinner too. We have never been so graciously attended. The delightful English speaking woman owner sought out our special requests. Our meals were a choice from...

We stayed in this charming hotel for two nights. We found the service to be very helpful, the dinner was delicious & very good value and the breakfast was also great. The hotel is in a good location- just a short walk into Courmayeur. Definitely recommended.

Great holiday and accommodation. We came for a nice and quiet ski holiday and got exactly that. The hotel is nice and antique looking with rock walls and a kind of cave-like interior. It is run by a lovely lady, Barbara and her husband who were more than welcoming and very happy to help and give advice when we needed...

Sadly this beautiful old hotel is full of character but lacks any real atmosphere and warmth with poor facilities for a ski trip and a breakfast below standard. It's location means an easy 6 min walk to the Dolonne ski lift which is perfect and why we booked it. The pictures of the beautiful fire lit common room unfortunately never...

Stayed here for a short while whilst skiing with my son. It's a short walk to the ski lift which is really great The staff, in particular the owner was super helpful and friendly The food was great especially breakfast. Because I'm a fussy eater on one night the set menu choice wasn't any good, so they made me something...

Imagine being greeted by the owners, who truly care for you and help with your demands, and ski planning. The owners are also guides, so be sure to chat with them. Imagine the smell of nonna's sweet baked cakes and Italian home made food. Be sure to book a half board package and you won't regret the feast. Wine is...

Situated on the opposite side of the valley from the town of Courmayeur in Dolonne, Hotel Dolonne was quite close to a lift giving access to the slopes. The hotel is set in a time warp but don't let this put you off. The hotel is a little dated and could do with a hot tub and a few other...

I am not sure, but maybe I got surprised by the low quality of a three star rating in Italy. Usually three stars is ok in Austria and France, but this hotel was too worne, outdated and lacking most elements of comfort. For example: - Wireless network of very poor quality, slow and dropping the connection very frequently, only available...

This was our 11th annual ski trip with a two other families and we had a fantastic time at Hotel Dolonne. Barbara, her husband and staff were very welcoming. We loved the food. Yes, salads are few and far between (as mentioned in another review) but it's just the kind of hearty mountain fare you want on a ski holiday....
