Upon check in, the owner did not speak ANY English which we found difficult to deal with and made communication impossible. We were told off the next day for leaving dinner and breakfast early. Hotel is nice and clean though and food lovely. Only 4 options of food on menu though, not a lot for vegetarians. Buffet breakfast was lovely...

Family run hotel with fabulous staff and lovely country cooking food from the maestro Giovanni. From the moment we arrive nothing was too much travel. The lovely Elisabetta at reception treated us at the door and made sure we got our ski pass and ski hire before they closed. The Ruffier family (Luciana, Eliseo and Roberto) can’t do enough for...

A quiet family run small hotel. Fabulous family, can't do enough for you. Ski to the door and only a 15min walk into the main town area. The rooms are very pretty and immaculately furnished and spotlessly clean. Home country cooking from Rabbit to traditional pasta dishes all cooked with such passion and pride. We have loved staying at this...

If you are looking for a peaceful place run by a very friendly family with a great cook - this is the place to be. The small hotel is walking distance away from the lift, the break first , the lunch and dinner are very good! We stayed one week and we loved to stay at this place. It is...

We were travelling with a group. Our guide had booked private rooms for this portion of the trip, but when we arrived we were offered only dorm style accommodations. There were 3-4 people per room with 2 bunk beds, and 3 of these rooms shared one bathroom with only one toilet and one shower. These were not separated in any...

This hotel is a 2 star not 3 star as they advertise. The place is cozy and comfortable but unless you are planning to ski on the adjacent ski field you are far better to stay elsewhere in the valley. The towels are not changed throughout your stay, the location is a 15 minute hike uphill from the bus station,...

Myself and my husband stayed here for 5 nights with two friends and we had a lovely time. The hotel staff were so friendly and really couldn't have done any more for us. Every day after skiing we would sit in the bar for a drink and they would bring out a selection of snacks - just what was needed...

The other reviews are inaccurate: this hotel is really not very good, nor is the restaurant. The rooms lack any sound-proofing. A night on the lower floor is about as relaxing as sleeping in an airport. We thoroughly enjoyed the racket of staff stomping about in the kitchen, and must applaud the wail of the dishwasher at 23h30. Restaurant: unclear...

We stayed in Maison Lo Compagnar with three children and grandparents on board. For us location was the number one reason for choosing the hotel and location is what we appreciate most also after our trip. The hotel is nice and comfortable. Home-like feeling works well with children. We had the family room and two other rooms. Having some extra...

Lately booked online, we did not have expectations really. Driving to the place was a challenge, but then our GPS was really the cause. When there, we were positively surprised! Breakfast is really good with variety. Good bread! We should have had dinner, I am sure it was great, but unfortunately we did not. In the pm the staff offer...
