Cosy family run B&B hotel with spotlessly clean rooms, delicious fresh buffet breakfasts with plenty to choose from. Includes Cappuccino and Expresso on request. There is also a lovely, cosy Lounge Bar where the staff will make a good selection of pre dinner drinks before you go out on the town. The reception staff and the driver of the Hotel's...

Stayed for 3 nights for a long skiing weekend, with 3 kids 8-13. Arrived 1.30am and met by friendly and kind night receptionist. Rooms not enormous, and levels of luxury reflect 3* grading, but immaculately clean. Pillows unforgiving. All staff very friendly and helpful - arranged for us to keep one room till 5pm on the last day so we...

Stayed here for 3 nights on Jan 11th 2017 with my two brothers in law to celebrate my 65th birthday. Great hotel owned by the Grivel family. Granddad Grivel designed and built the crampons used by Edmund Hillary to climb Everest in the 1950s - hence the hotel name. Our triple room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were great...

Hotel Crampon is wonderful!! Our triple room was spacious, immaculate and amazingly clean. Good sized bathroom. One of our two favourite accommodations on the TMB. Well located close to the centre of town. Courmayeur, a charming little town, is a great spot for a two day rest on the trek. Breakfast was exceptional with the homemade almond fruit tart being...

Our room was not fancy but it was comfortable and very clean. The staff were all super friendly and breakfast was excellent, including especially the yummy tarts. In addition to ordinary coffee, they will make espresso based drinks for you on request. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Hotel Crampon while on the Tour de Mont Blanc. The location was fantastic - close to the older section and main shopping/eating areas. Our room was very large and the bathroom was huge which is unusual in Europe. Breakfast, included, was great too. I think what stood out the most for us was the very friendly...

I needed a last minute hotel as a result of skipping a Refugio on my TMB trek. The Tor de Geants race was starting so everything was booked. I grabbed a bigger room here than I needed, and when I showed up they totally sorted it out and took care of me, saving me money and making everything work. Very...
