We spent a night during TMB trek. The place is clean, well maintained and in a great location. The dinner and breakfast were OK, nothing special. We had hot water in the shower only for 1minutes! An awful experience after a long hike.

Rifugio Bonatti is a highlight of the TMB. The staff are incredibly efficient, friendly and helpful; food is good and plentiful; fixtures are all pretty modern. Everything is clean and comfortable. Shared dorms are shared dorms and can be noisy. The beds were comfortable though and there are private rooms available which might be a better option for a light...

This refuge looked very new, clean. The views from the front yard are amazing. They have adequate numbers of showers and toilets for the number of guests. The food was excellent, which was surprising given their remote location. Compared to other refuges on the Tour de Mont Blanc this was luxury.

Rifugio Walter Bonatti was our first stop on the TMB, having walked from Courmayeur. We were in an all-day rainstorm and arrived at Bonatti soaked to the bone, cold, and hungry. What a delightful sight to walk into the bustling refuge filled with hikers from around the globe. We dried off, changed, and enjoyed the famous hot chocolate. Later, dinner...

Chapeau to the team that operates this rifugio. Hundreds of hikers visit daily this spot at this time of the year and the place is managed great. Dinner (I counted more than hundred visitors) was delicious, room and showers were clean. Breakfast was nice. A great view from the Rifugio spot! Recommended!

Stay one night while hiking the TMB. Our very 1st refugio on the trek. The host, older female helped us calling to reserve a place in la Fouly. The refugio is nice and clean. Reservation was easy....just email them and they take your word for it. No deposit required...but it was early in the season so it might be different...

This place has superior sleeping and bathroom facilities compared to other places I stayed at on the TMB - it actually seemed spacious enough to be able to accommodate everyone even when full. The As with other rifugios (in Italy only) the showers require a token; at Bonatti the amount of water is measured rather than the time so you...

We stopped here on the TMB tour for a picnic/lunch stop. The hot chocolate is a MUST!! The rifugio was clean and tidy with friendly staff. There are plenty of places to sit both inside and outside. Good views too

Great place. Well designed for trekkers and very clean though can be crowded. We stayed in a 3 bunk +1 bed dormitory which was cleverly designed- each bunk having its own clothes/rucksacks etc area. Some rooms had 12+ beds in a long row. Toilets/showers unisex. Shower coin operated- you get coin (free) from desk then switch on shower by pulling...

good sized rooms..amazing location with really good views..good dining area and very good service..the a la carte food at lunch was really good..the common dinner was a let down..the breakfast is a joke..towels are rented and the information is not displayed..very few showers..a queue ..and a very limited amount of hot water controlled with a token..ridiculous..
