They made us feel very welcome. The food was great - home cooked and plenty of it! Our room was small but clean and tidy, which was kept up throughout the week. It is in a great location for the lifts and the town. I would definitely recommend if your on a budget.

First things first - don't expect a chalet. Rooms are fairly small and so too the bathroom, but they are tidy and served us well (a couple). Food is amazing. Three course dinner cooked every night was brilliant - different offering too, and good portions. There were 8 of us as part of a ski holiday and we loved it....

Our room was very dirty ..... Food was very poor and the common area was more like the proprietors sitting room 😞 I wouldn't recommend this hotel. He only saving grace was the snow and ski conditions.

This charmingly quaint family run hotel never ceased to amaze and provide entertainment to our party. From the rather tired notices/missives from the management, 'internet free from 8.00 to 23.00', often switched off early, to the 'NO TAP WATER ALLOWED AT DINNER', (their capitals not mine), or the very pleasant, but very plain main course choice of 'mozarella and tomato',...

We have had a week staying here, two of four guests with Inghams, The small friendly, family run, hotel was exactly as described. The Italian family made us feel welcome, changed our room to one further from the street and bar and produced interesting and satisfying Italian cuisine each evening. The rooms were adequate in size, clean with a divided...

I spent a week here at the end of March and think some of the reviews were very unkind and misrepresent the hotel. The family who run it were welcoming and very helpful. I don't speak Italian but I speak french and was able to chat and make friends. I travelled alone and was very happy with my small room....

This is an owner / family run hotel, with a husband, wife and daughter team. Only the daughter, Monica speaks English. It covers all the basics for a ski holiday, being only five minutes walk from the main lifts and close to all amenities. The bedrooms are adequate, with reasonable storage and large radiators to dry all your kit. It...

I have just returned from a ski trip 5 - 12 April. Hotel Serenella does not claim to be any more than it is, but what it is meets the description fully. Anyone that expects more should pay more and go upmarket. The hotel is well located, just off the Main Street (only street!) of Cervinia. It is a very...

I read the reviews before visiting the hotel on 25th jan 2014 for 1 week and thought they are quite harsh! The rooms are clean, warm and showers always have hot water. Yes they are a bit basic but when you pay a cheap price you cannot expect 5star luxuary!!! The staff are helpful and always say hello. They speak...

Hi Tripadvisor friends. Having read Peter D's review the day before we departed for Cervinia, I can confirm that the dour woman is still in place, obviously having attended the SS School Of Charm! We too were led to our cell and every morning received a UN food parcel for breakfast consisting of dry rolls, ham, cheese and salami. Boiled eggs were...
