Very nice room for a very low price. The staff were friendly and eager to help. Free tea and water at the reception. Location is good and it's easy to walk everywhere from here. Will stay here again if I ever return to Turin!

After wandering the streets of Turin in a torrential downpour, I stumbled into the Tomato Backpacker's Hotel simply desperate for a cup of tea. The cozy atmosphere immediately put me at ease as the founder of this unique institution welcomed me and explained the sustainable model of the facility. And of course got me a cup of tea. While happy...

First of all, this hostel is very central. In fact, it is one of the most central - well-priced you can find in the city of Turin. Second, the furniture inside the rooms and the common zone is very new and welcoming, as well as the decoration. The wifi works very fast and the staff are very friendly, nice and...

Stayed for three nights in a single room, just a bed and a very small table with a lamp on it, en suite bathroom extremely small. Bed is average comfort, bathroom with bare minimum accessories, cleaning could be improved. But the best thing comes at night when the hostel is full of guests you need to bring ear plugs if...

I stayed two nights in a 4-bed dorm. The room was ensuite, super nice and clean. The hostel is in a very good location at walking distance from the train station and the city centre, which makes it a perfect base to go around and explore the city. Apart from the location, I loved the atmosphere, the commitment to sustainability...

Perhaps this place is just too young and hip for me, but I do appreciate its attempts at retro cool and it mostly works well. The staff are also very helpful and value good for a city centre. Pity about the noisy plumbing- foam ear plugs are a must!

We booked two beds in a dorm for four people and got our own room with three beds and a private bathroom. Very helpfull and friendly staff. Breakfast included, with fresh Cappuccino and Espresso. Everything very clean, linen and towels included.

The hostel is located in one of the most characteristic district of Turin, San Salvario, full of bars, café and restaurants. It is near Parco Valentino, the train station and ten minutes walk from the city center. The staff is very kind and helpful. The hostel is quite recent and everything is perfectly maintained.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location and great value. 4 bed dorms are spacious and comfortable. Only downside was the shower ensuite shower cubicle which was very small, making it difficult to move around to wash
